When [Y/n] opened his eyes, he was in a street. The cold air nipped at his bare arms and legs. He felt his toes curl up from the unexpected cold. [Y/n] let a shaky breath, a puff of vapor coming out.
He looked around warily at the people who passed by him and began to walk around the street. He needed to get back home. His nose became red and runny just after a minute of being outside in the 30° weather.
He continued on walking, until he bumped into a few kids, running out of an alleyway. He would've shrugged it off, if he didn't hear a pitiful meow coming from the alley. [Y/n] paused and walked towards the sound until he approached a small tabby with matted fur. It's legs seemed to be limp, as if they were broken.
As soon as the tabby had spotted [Y/n], it hissed loudly at him and began dragging itself away. He frowned and slowly bent down to the kitten's level and carefully scooped it in his arms.
The kitten growled and scratched at [Y/n]'s arms in protest. However, [Y/n] only scooped the kitten in his sweater and began walking out of the alley.
He remembered that Aizawa passed a hospital while on the way home. That was his first stop.
He began to walk faster, the kitten's hissing reducing to small, weak meows. His fast walk increased to a running pase as he dashed through crowds of people. He could felt his feet shake as he furrowed his eyebrows. It was getting harder to walk by the minute.
He stumbled to a bench and plopped down. The ground seemed to spin under him as he blinked slowly.
"Hey, brat!" A voice called. "You alright?"
Though [Y/n]'s blurry vision, he could see a bulky figure approach him. It was definitely a man. [Y/n] sunk down into the bench and looked up at the figure.
"C...cold." [Y/n] mumbled, through his shivering form. The figure paused before taking off his coat and put it on [Y/n].
"Where the hell are your parents?" The man asked, his voice softened a little bit as he looked around.
"Gone..." [Y/n] mumbled, sinking into the warmth of the coat. He felt tired. If he blinked even once, he was sure he would go unconscious. He heard the man mumble something under his breath before he picked up [Y/n] in his arms and began walking to the nearest hospital.
_______________
Aizawa's heart rate had settled down since he discovered [Y/n] was at the hospital, but not all the way. He couldn't feel satisfied until he knew that [Y/n] was safe and by his side. He was special to him; even though they had only known each other for a few weeks.
He was in his car, trying his very best not to speed down the street like a mad man. Tsukauchi had called him back after Bakugou had called the police and assured Aizawa that [Y/n] was safe.
When Aizawa parked his car at the hospital, he ran inside and to the reception desk.
"Is [Y/n] okay?" Aizawa asked, in a desperate and worried tone.
"Ah! Are you his father? Don't worry. He's in good hands!" The receptionist exclaimed.
"Answer the question." Aizawa replied, with irritated eyes and a deep voice.
"U...uh, yeah! He's in room 133." The receptionist nervously chuckled. Aizawa almost ran around the halls and to room 133, where a doctor was taking notes.
"What happened? Is he okay?" Aizawa asked.
"He was diagnosed with hypothermia. Stage four. And he should have died. But as soon as he stopped breathing, his temperature increased to normal and he woke up. He seems to be able to function normally and none of his organs are damaged." The doctor replied. "He should be released from the hospital in a few hours."
Aizawa ran his hand through his hair and let out a relieved sigh. He walked into the room to see [Y/n] sitting on the bed, a blanket surrounding him into a small cocoon.
"Hey, kid." Aizawa breathed out with a smile. [Y/n] turned to him, his eyes lighting up. Aizawa took a seat on the cushioned chair next to the hospital bed.
"You really scared the living daylights out of me." Aizawa stated, gently with a small smile. [Y/n] crawled over to him and swung his legs over the bed. Aizawa was not prepared for what happened next.
[Y/n] hugged his leg tightly, hiding his face into his pants. "...'m sorry!" [Y/n] exclaimed, hiding his teary face into Aizawa's leg.
"Hey, kiddo! It's okay! You don't have to cry!" Aizawa comforted. "I missed you too."
