Please share some barefooting experiences of yours (that's not at homes or beaches or pools).
Last Christmas, we went to Utah to visit family. While there, I went barefoot at Temple Square in Salt Lake City. It was Christmas Eve night and we were looking at the beautiful light and nativity display they always have there. Parking in downtown Salt Lake is always ridiculous, so we parked farther away and took the light rail train to Temple Square. I had a few people come up to me and ask me if my feet were cold and if I needed shoes. (I did have a pair of moccasins with me just in case, because it was pretty cold and we were going places - like the train - that sometimes refuse service if I'm not wearing shoes.) I had several copies of my book A Brief Guide to Barefooting with me that I was able to give out to everyone who asked me questions, as well as cards for Barefoot is Legal. I ended up not needing the moccasins that whole night and I had a lovely Christmas Eve with my family.
