Okay. This Chapter's going to have some actual action. Sorry I haven't been updating as usual. Chapter 17 for you. My books aren't Stuart Gibbs-level awesome, but this is my best shot at an action scene.

Erica's POV

Wait-what? SISTER? Zoe and Kristy were...sisters?

"Sisters?" Ben echoed. "What-?"

"You couldn't tell, could you, Benjamin Ripley?"

Ben looked hurt, and disappointed, and shocked. He was a jumble of everything I couldn't fully realize. He just found out that his ex-girlfriend was evil, his two closest friends had turned on him and one of them was Kristy's sister.

"Don't make me suffer longer," Ben said, turning to me and Mike. "Go, point a gun at me as well if that's who you are. Please don't keep the suspense in."

I dropped to my knees, eyes filled with tears. "How could you not trust me, Ben?"

"I wouldn't do such a thing, Ben," Mike said. Ben turned to face Zoe and Jawa.

"What did you do this?" he asked them. "Why would you do this to us?"

Kristy just laughed. "There's a lot of backstory," she said with a laugh. "Let's make ourselves comfortable."

Zoe kept her gun trained on us as Jawa cuffed Ben, Mike and me. We were led to a small holding cell. As soon as we sat in Kristy locked it and threw the key somewhere.

"Okay," Kristy said, flopping on a beanbag. Zoe joined her as well, and Jawa joined the other agents of RATT behind them. "Talk away."

Zoe spoke up first. "So, how awesome was my acting?"

"Super awesome," I muttered under my breath.

"You couldn't even tell," Jawa sneered from behind us. "These three fools were so foolish."

"After the shock, I encountered by Kristy a couple of days later. She told me that she had just found out about Ben, Erica, Mike and me in the CIA. She offered me a deal that was even better than the CIA. The pay is much better, and here I am free to do whatever I wanted to," Zoe said.

"You turned to the bad side just for money and freedom?" Mike asked. "And in return I get to have my heart broken?"

"I'm sorry," Zoe said with a tiny hint of sadness that quickly dissolved. "Later, I accepted the offer, but I needed to stay double agent. I fooled Catherine, Alexander, Ben, Erica, Mike and so many others who thought I was a CIA agent. I stayed with Mike so I could get more intel on all of you. As soon as Jawa told Mike he'd be coming on the mission with us, I immediately called him and we cooked up this plan to bring you here."

"That's not all," Jawa said. "RATT pays us $200,000 dollars. We'd be millionaires in months!"

They both laughed an evil laugh. I put my hand on Ben's and Mike put a hand on my other.

"You won't get away with whatever you're going to do," Ben said, trying to sound confident.

Kristy glared at him. "Oh yes we will," she said. "You'll never even figure it out on time." Then she turned around and started working on something, she and Zoe typing furiously into two monitors while twp agents had guns trained on us.

"Ben, have you figured it out yet?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"There was a piece of paper in Kristy's hand and it said 'communication system' and something else, but I couldn't figure it out."
Mike was still broken-hearted at the sight of Zoe. "I don't even know how she could even think of it," he muttered sadly. "I had faith in her and I loved her and-"

"I'm sorry, Mike," Ben said sympathetically.

"We need to get out of here, and fast. We need to stop whatever in the world they're trying to do," I said.

Kristy was talking to Zoe about something. The piece of paper that said 'communication system' was laying on the floor. I nudged Ben and pointed to it. He was closest to the paper. All he had to do was reach out to do it, but his hands were cuffed in front of him.

I slid a hairpin out of my hair and picked at the lock, desperate. The lock turned with a satisfying click and popped open. Luckily, none of the agents were noticing. I quickly slid over to Ben and removed his handcuffs as well. Ben freed Mike while I set to unlocking the makeshift holding cell. It was electronic, and the wire box was facing me. Foolish mistake.

Ben reached out to the piece of paper and almost grabbed it when Kristy noticed him. I had literally just finished disconnecting the red wire. The bars slid open and the three of us rolled out and pointed our guns back at the men.

"Don't let them escape!" Zoe yelled. The men immediately opened fire on us. We dove for cover and fired back. I'm pretty sure I got one of the men. We fired and fired until both sides ran out of ammunition. The men pounced on us. I jumped on one of them, throwing punches and kicks at him as he dodged every move of mine. He lunged for me but I slid under his legs, sweeping them out from behind him. He crashed onto the floor, unconscious.

Ben had also taken his thug down as well, similar to Mike. Kristy, Zoe and Jawa were still standing, save for a couple of others. Ben and Mike took on the men while Kristy and Zoe faced me.

"I knew this day would come," Zoe said. "The day I would fight the legendary Erica Hale the great."

"Legendary?" Kristy asked. "I highly doubt that." She lunged towards me and I prepared to attack.

Ben's POV

I watched silently as Kristy lunged towards Erica. She lashed out a kick at Kristy, who quickly dodged it before punching Erica in the face. A blue spot bloomed on her cheek. Nevertheless, Erica, swift as always, jumped up high and lashed another kick at Kristy. Kristy was a second too late and she got jabbed by Erica's pointed foot in the stomach. She doubled over, clutching her stomach. Zoe ran toward her. I ran in between, stopping Zoe. She turned to face me. I glared bullets at her, not noticing the fact that she was ready to flip me. She pulled my legs, surprising me and I crashed onto the floor, seeing stars.

"Next time, watch before you come and attack me," Zoe sneered. From my spot on the floor, I kicked her hard on the legs and her legs gave out on her and she crashed to the floor as well. I leaped to my feet and ran over to Mike, who had just knocked down three men unconscious.

"This isn't over," Mike said warily. He pointed to a detonator. There were rows of numbers across the screen of the computer next to it. Probably latitude and longitude, for a missile.

Uh-oh. Something was going to go wrong.

Shocking revelations. More are on your way. Have a great day!
