Aria POV

"Well. Are we parents." Ezra asked.

"I don't know. You have to wait a few minutes." I said.

"Wait. If your hormonal like this, you probably are."

"Ezra!" I screamed, not believing he had just said that.

"Sorry Aria. But its the truth."

"Its...its negative. We aren't parents."

"Are you disappointed Aria?" Ezra asked rubbing my shoulder.

"Maybe...I don't know. Maybe I thought that if we had a child...that if we had a child that we could raise together, even though we weren't planning it, it felt kinda...good." I admitted. Ezra pulled me down to sit next to him on the couch. He looked me in the eye.

"Aria. We are getting married. And in the past we had talked about children. We both agreed that if we ever got married, which we are, that we would have children. Just not right away."

"I mean, we are already taking care of Malcolm so you have a child and me a stepson. I want my own child."

"Aria. Do you...do you want to try to get pregnant."

I slumped down on the couch. "I don't know, maybe. I do want my own child. But we have been raising Malcolm part time for almost a year. That hasn't proved to be easy."

"I know it hasn't been. Raising Malcolm and asking you to be like a mom to him hasn't been fair for you."

Ezra POV

Malcolm is coming over today. And its not fair. Aria has been so...depressed since she found out she wasn't pregnant.

Aria hasn't been able to tell her friends about raising Malcolm. He's only 4 (in my story, Malcolm is only 4 not 7) and that's hard. Shes given up so much for him.

Tonight I want to talk to Aria about taking full custody of Malcolm. Its better that way. Maggie said that it would be easier for both of us.

Aria POV

"Hey, Ezra. I cant pick Malcolm up. I know you have a meeting, but I'm stuck in family meeting and my parents won't let me go. I lied to Spencer saying that I was supposed to babysit him today and that I couldn't and she agreed to pick him up from day care. I'll pick him up as soon as I get out and hopefully I can make dinner. Im sorry. Love you. Aria." I said into the voicemail on Ezra's cell phone.

"Aria. Get back in here." My mom yelled.

I walked back into the living room. I took a seat in my chair and My father turned to look at me.

"Okay, so, your mother and I have decided we don't know enough about the two of you. So...We are going to spend more time with you. And you are on lockdown from your phones and can only use your laptops for schoolwork." My dad said. Me and my brother groaned, simultaneously. My mother sighed.

"We just want to get to know each other more. And since Aria is going off to college reallly soon, we don't have enough bonding time left. So please, just...play along."

"I really have to go though. Me and Spencer have a babysitting job, I told you this already..." My dad cut me off.

"One dressed like that. No. And two, that's why we let you call Spencer. So you could ask to have her call someone else to help her until you get there."

"I bet she's lying. I bets she's meeting her boyfriend and the two of them are gonna spend the night at his apartment." Mike said.

I slapped Mike with a pillow. My parents glared at me.

"Boyfriend." My dad screamed.

"Who is he. Aria, are we going to like him. Boy drama." My mom said, squealing in a high pitch voice.

"I think you guys would like him. Hes a nice guy."

I thought by saying generic stuff, it would be easier. My parents already did like him, but they couldn't know that I was dating Ezra. I may be eighteen, but I'm still in highschool and Ezra was my teacher.

By the way, how did you know Mike." I said.

"It was easy. I overheard you talking to your friends talking about him on the phone. You call him Mr. Hottie because you don't want mom and dad to know who he is. I don't blame you. If I was dating a teacher, I wouldn't want mom and dad to know."

"Teacher." My dad screamed.

"Who is it Aria. A teacher. I cant believe this. Or you."

"I...he...gotta go, bye." I grabbed my bag of things and ran out of the door. I got in my car and drove away.

I drove to Spencer's house. Once I was there, I found her and Malcolm coloring on her kitchen table. The one they almost never used. It was actually kind of ironic.

"Thanks for watching Malcolm, Spencer."

"Oh no problem. Malcolm, ready to go with Aria to see your daddy." Spencer said to Malcolm.

"Aria I have a few questions." Malcolm said.

"Sure. What is it."

"Why do you and my daddy kiss each other on the mouth."

"Your daddy and I are really close. Actually, we are getting married. Which means I'll be your stepmom."

"My stepmom?" Malcolm asked.

"Stepmom?" Spencer asked.

"Stepmom." I said. "I'm going to be your stepmom."
