I was doing my normal routine of jogging when I suddenly got a text from Michael,asking me to come over.i immediately began to run to his house,once I made it I stopped to breath.i then knocked on the door,one of Michael's moms opened it.i noticed the house looked a bit empty,"Hello Rich."she said.she sounded tired,"what's going on Mrs.Mell?"I asked as I walked inside.Michael's other mom walked downstairs,"well,Richard,my sister has cancer.So I decided to move the whole family to California to help her out."she explained.i widened my eyes,"Is Michael still going to graduate?"I asked.they both looked at each other,"Michael won't be finishing school here."Michael's mom said.

I felt like my whole world had stopped,my heart shattered."you've got 24 hours to spend time with Michael before the moving truck gets here."Michael's mama said,I nodded.i slowly walked downstairs to the basement,aka Michael's room."it's going to be ok,we can handle a long distance relationship."I thought,my heart broke even more when I saw Michael.he had his hood up and was curled up into a ball on his beanbag chair,"baby?"i said.his head rose up,he looked at me.his eyes were puffy,as if he had been crying for hours.he ran to me and collapsed into my arms,we both sank to the floor.he hugged me tightly,I hugged him back.
