Jeremy's pov
Jake and I were going on our first date today.i managed to weasel my way out of my dad giving me "the talk"by lying(I told him Jake was here early),so now I was waiting outside for him.it was kinda hot outside,but luckily Jake arrived so I didn't need to complain or worry about the heat.as I got in his car I saw he was playing Lizzo,he blushed in embarrassment and turned down the volume.now,Michael and I have been to 2 Lizzo concerts.she is our queen,well Michael has two queens(his moms),but that's beside the point.i smiled and turned up the music,"you like Lizzo too?"Jake asked."like her?i love her!"I exclaimed,Jake grinned.
"Ugh I just love all of her songs!"i said,forgetting to ask where we were going.we sang along to her songs until we arrived at the train station,"why are we hear?"i asked as the song ended."well,Michael told me that you love Hadestown-"he began to say,"it's a good show!"i said.he grinned,I gasped."no!"I said,he held up two tickets.i gasped again,"how did you get these?!they're so expensive!"i said as I held them."you don't need to worry about that."he said,I kinda was now."this is the best day ever god I love you!"i said,I blushed.i realized what I just said,"um,I mean,uh."i stammered.
