Chapter 3

It was the third day with Jungkook and Taehyung in the library. Taehyung was finally doing better in his class and his teacher was glad to see his grades improving. He just about finished his assignments when his stomach let out a giant grumble.

"Someone's hungry." spoke Jungkook not looking up from his homework.

"yeah, yeah. Shall I treat you to lunch? You have been helping me a lot. Plus I need a break." Taehyung sighed closing his book.

"Sure." Jungkook shrugged, packing up his stuff. They took the stairs out of the library to head to a nearby cafe.

They took a seat at a table as the waiter dropped off some menus before quickly ordering some sandwiches. The waiter excused himself to go get their order started.

"So, I didn't know you existed before this week." Taehyung said looking at him. Jungkook gave him a wide smile. "I'm not very talkative, although you never seem to keep quiet."

"What's that suppose to mean?" Taehyung asked cocking his eyebrows at him jokingly annoyed.

"It means you're loud," Jungkook teased him, mischief gleaming in his eyes.

"Yeah, yeah whatever." Taehyung responded, rolling his eyes. "You're younger than me so you have to be respectful."

"Sureee." JK said as the server dropped off their sandwiches. They both dug in, exchanging conversation here and there.

"You know you're pretty notorious around campus," Jungkook remarks, wiping his mouth with his napkin and leaning back in his chair.

"Really?" Taehyung mumbles with a mouth full of food, trying to understand what Jungkook was getting at. Sure people knew him, but he only really had a few friends and didn't talk to a lot of strangers.

"Well, you're the first guy to date Jimin." Jungkook says awkwardly bringing up Taehyung's ex.

"Oh." Taehyung realizes. After what had happened it took him a while to get used to the rumors and by the time they died down him and Jimin had made up. "It's really not that big of a deal."

"But didn't he cheat on you? With that one star basketball player?"

"Yeah, but it's not entirely black and white. I caught them kissing at a party and apparently Yoongi had gone to Jimin to ask about help coming out when they fell in love with each other. I may have been with Jimin at the time but we really weren't that serious. Please now I have two very happy best friends so I'm glad." He said with a small smile taking another bite of his sandwich.

"Wow." Jungkook said nodding after just finishing his sandwich. "So you're not with anyone right now?"

"Why are you interested?" He said with a smirk and raised his eyebrows. Jungkook rolled his eyes and smiled at him. "No, I'm not, I almost hooked up with someone, but I figured I didn't really need that right now."

"Yeah, I would say I agree, but I kind of only sleep around." Jungkook laughed.

"Really?" Taehyung was surprised. "You don't seem like that kind of person."

"Don't know if I should take offense to that-" "No- No I didn't mean-" I was kidding, ha, I get what you mean. Yeah, I've never really been interested in dating because I'm just so busy. I've just found it's been easier to hook up with people. I haven't had time to actually get to know someone."

"I get that, Relationships are a lot." Taehyung responded, feeling a small pang of disappointment.

"Yeah, But it'll come when it comes. I'm sure I won't expect it."

"You been with anyone good?"

"Well I've definitely blown most of the football team-"

"I'm SORRY WHA-"
