Chapter 1

Sup? My name is Monica Cecilia Rodriguez. I'm an awesome tomboy. I'm going to a new high school, Westwood High. I moved from Virginia to Ohio. It was a big change. I lived in Virginia most of my life.

I was in the office waiting for my schedule. It was a Saturday in the middle of summer. It's morning and I'm tired like usual.

I was texting Taylor, my best friend since kindergarten. We were born in Longbeach, California, had moved to Virgina and we were both new at the school and instantly clicked. We were inseparable. But that was until her parents had to move to Hawaii a few months ago. Taylor told me it was because of her dad's "job" ......I never really knew what it was. But till this day she still begs her parents to move here so we can be united once again. I mean our parents are best friends too and so we grew up together. I miss her so much.

The door opened and it looks like I wasn't the only one getting my schedule before the doors were locked too. The guy who came in had the funniest bed hair ever! *chuckles* "bruh you should see your hair." He looked at me and as if in one look he realized something.

Nathan's POV*

I was running late and I had places to go. I got to school a little before the doors were locked. My hair was messed up too. Today was not my day.

I got to the office and I heard a chuckle from behind me. Gawd this is my worst day ever! "bruh you should see your hair" that voice was soothing and the best thing since this morning.

I looked over and I saw a girl with long wavey dark brown almost black hair and light brown eyes with thick long eyelashes.

She had a "paranormal activity" t-shirt and white jeans and black converse with the awesome designed socks. She also had those long fingerless gloves called arm warmers and had a skateboard in her right arm. By the looks of her appearance I would think she's a tomboy.

(But she is my.... Mate? )

(Hell yeah she's our mate. She's hot too.) My wolf Scott said.

She was a human I think.. It's hard to tell... Strange... but that doesn't matter right now.

My attention was all on her nothing else in the world seem to matter but her.

I wanted to grab her, ravish her and claim her as ours. I can already feel Scott getting frenzy.

But she doesn't even know me or who I am let alone what I am. I mean I'm alpha..well soon to be alpha along with Jacob, my twin brother of the Silver Moons Pack (#1 pack).

She seems friendly, I can be friends with her and she'll eventually become mine. I mean she looks easy enough to make her fall in love with me.... right?

Monica's POV*

Other than the adorable brown hair, he had the prettiest blue eyes. It was dark then it lightened up a bit...weird. Maybe it's just the lighting in this office.

But he looked like a player. And either way I don't need a boyfriend....At least not right now.

I mean my friend, Dymond is leaving in about 9 months and my childhood friend is in Hawaii and I'm at a whole new different school. It's already complicated enough.

But he seems to not stop staring at me. Thank the lord the lady gave me my schedule. "Thank you bye!" I said quickly. I was about to leave when that dude pushed me up against the wall.

(Like wtf!?)

"My names Nathan Ephram. what grade are you in?"

"11th"

Scared to reply wrong. "What class?"

"3-b"

"Cool your in my class."

(Nooo!!!) Then he let me go and I speed walked trying to get away from the hot weirdo to ride my skateboard home...that is not far!

My mom left to WalMart to go grocery shopping. All my siblings are at home and my sister is at her boyfriends house.

I bought the school supplies that I wanted for once. But I can't get my mind off Nathan. That guy freaked me out and he put something in my pocket.

I reached in my pocket to see what it was...(His number great.)

Nathan Ephram...cute but creepy. I'll wait till I feel comfortable to talk to him.

I mean I have a lot of bullshit to take care of and as Iggy Azalea put it "I have 99 problems but you won't be one" love that chic.

When I got home I went straight to my room, as always, avoiding everyone. They keep secrets from me. I don't know what they are but no one will tell me so I don't see how I can trust them, ya know. I used to have fun with them but now that me and my siblings have grown up, it complicated our relationships.
