Monica's pov

I'm not in love! I can't be! I promised I wouldn't! It's too sudden!

"Monica I know what happened was hard for you but you need to move on. I mean it might be that he's different nothing like Ryan. Just don't let him ruin your while relationship life."

I barely know Nathan and how can I trust him. Ryan hurt me so much.....*sniffle* (I tried to hold in my tears)...I don't want to fall in love again. Not after Ryan, I whispered....

"Chica....*sign* Fine but are you going to make an effort at least to get to know him?"

I don't know. He pissed me off today. So...

"What did he say?"

He said I was a girlie girl, I pouted.

"........What? I thought you were over that whole caring what guys say thing?"

I told you I got pissed and it was annoying me.

"Girl you in love!"

Am not!!

"I can't wait to see him if I ever go there. "

You better come to go to my 17 birthday.

"Um.. See what had happened was... I'll try but I make no promises. Because of my parents.... And stop trying to change the subject chica."

Oh yeah that reminds me (lol changing the subject) I saw this cute guy who looked like Nathan.... But a bad boy version of him and he had a eyebrow piercing, four ear piercings on his left ear, tattoos on both arms, and very well built. And Nathan has the cuffs on his ear and well built. But yeah he was really cute."

"O.o I want to meet him! I call dibs!
And STOP TRYING TO CHANGE THE SUBJECT DAMMIT!"

I'M NOT IN LOVE WITH NATHAN!!!

... suddenly I hear my mom yell.
"Monica I want to speak with you."

Damn! Taylor I'll call you back later.

"Ok chica but don't deny the truth!"

I'm not! *hangs up* then I walk downstairs and down the hall.

While I was walking I past my siblings who were saying "Ooohh your in trouble."........

(I HATE IT WHEN THEY DO THAT! )

I see my mother in her room waiting patiently.....

I walk in... What do you want to talk about?

"Why do you look upset?"

It's noth- "Its not nothing when I can hear you yelling "I'm not in love!" "I'm not I love!" she said giggling a little.

Seriously mom it's nothing- "Its not nothing just tell me who you like sweety?"

I don't know why but I suddenly said "Nathan"... just saying his name makes me happy and then I remembered what he said to me and I was mad again.

"Who's this Nathan guy?"

Just another guy like Ryan, I mumbled.

"And how exactly? It's only been one day and you say you like him but think he's like Ryan. Are you just saying that because of what happened?"

I shoveled my foot across the floor uncomfortablely. Maybe.....

"Then if you like him get to know him."

But what if he's like Ryan! All the things that he says and does are lies!
(My eyes started to tear up) and my mom looked panicked...She runs to hug me.

Flashback*

"Will you go out with me?" Ryan said.

I was in 9th grade and this new guy Ryan came. He looked like a player but didn't play the game.

I kinda sorta...liked him.

And he asked me out.... I said yes of course. We dated for a month. Everyday he called me. Texted me 'good morning' and 'goodnight' and always said 'i love you' or 'I'll always be by your side'....But then....

One day I went to his house and I looked through his phone when he left to get me soda.

I found a picture of him and and another girl. It was taken recently and said 'I love you your my everything' -love your dear boyfriend.

I got up and was about to walk out the door then he grabbed my wrists and asked "What's wrong?"

I found a picture of you and your other girl Ryan! I can't believe you! Its over! I leave and never saw him again....

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"I promise it wont happen again okay sweety" She says and kisses my head.

Hours which seemed like minutes went by fast.

I went to bed listening to Taylor Swifts new song caked Wildest dreams. (Love this song.)

I skipped the next day.

After a few weeks everything was fine and Nathan and I are... Well nothing really.

I got to science class all drowsy and shit.

I stayed up all night again.... Then I heard we had a group project. We had to partner up with someone but the teacher picked and I was paired with.... Nathan....

Gawd the world hates me. Let's see how this goes.

I was at my locker getting my next class stuff when I opened it. There was a note.

It said... 'Stay away from Nathan or your life will be miserable.'

(Bisshhh waa!!!!)

I thought it was plain stupid. I can talk and be with him as much as I please bitch.

#1 rule you need to know about me....
I don't like to be told what to do.

I threw the note away and then when things were the same. They chickened out. Its funny how hard they try but I'm hard to break. After school I went home and started working on my science project.

I texted Nathan to see what our topic will be. I wonder if he is like Ryan... I hope not.
