It was the day we all suited up and went to the arena. When the screen showed the countdown we all saw each other and nodded. When it hit 1 we all ran to our teammates got a bag and ran. We all met at the lake and all of us nodded and went together laughing.
After an hour i think we saw fire but we all stayed together and ran to a rock. We went inside and had a little meeting of how we will meet at the X mark on the map and we will get the present.
So everyone left cody and I walked and talked about our family i was happy to hear him talk about his family it felt good on my side.
Cody was talking about his father and i was talking about my mother and how they were great friends. When we talked we heard Caleb and Moe dustrict 3's victors like me and the rest of us.
We all walked toghether when a wolf came up on us. I screamed so did Moe but the boys killed the wolf and we had a relief until 3 more came.
Then we all tried killing it but we couldn't then Al and Sallie came and saved us. District 8 is strong and brave as i heard. We all walked and slept but then we heard footsteps when we were getting to sleep it was district 2 kids. They were sad we asked why and she showed the skies.
District 1 kids died we all felt sad but we all have to move on. We slept so good that we woke up late i think then i saw a note it was from Rye. On the note it said.
Hey sis i know what happened and why you are in the quarter quell i learned. Mom is crying so much i hope you dont lie if you read this say hi Rye.
I said " hi Rye" as my brother told me then a note came to me and it said okay by Rye. I laughed and Cody said everything okay i said yeah.
All 6 of us woke up and started moving on when we landed on the big X on the floor which meant the present is in the cave.
Cody and I went inside and saw a box and a note which says dont open till you get home love Sarah. I was so confused when a note came flying to me. It said dont open Willow it might be a bomb love Katniss.
Cody saw the letter and said "I agree with your mom" then I saw a wall and a little door. I turned the box around and the door opened.
Cody called the others and all 22 of
us went in the door. Everything was very dark until there a maze, we took two torch lights and went in.
There was a sign that said get the present and be careful kisses Sarah.
I didn't get scared of the sign I just moved on with the others then we all stopped and paired up of 2.
All of us paired up with our district partner and so I did that to. We all went in different directions so we won't get stuck. Cody and I were looking around and we heard a pair say we got out of the maze so we followed our path to get out we were the last ones to get out after district 5.
We all kept moving then we saw a lot of bats coming to us I ran to them and jumped on one of the bats and moved it so it can go away from our group. The rest of the group jumped on them and we all rode of.
We kept moving when there was this big X mark on the floor but the rocks were broken so i moved carefully on the rocks to get the box and I touched it . The rocks collided and all of them came when we all opened the box and it was a necklace.
It said on the box property of Sarah. All of us saw Sarah coming in and she said give my necklace I said no then she said how can I get the necklace from u I said archery.
We both got our bows and Cody said who ever gets the arrow on the target gets the necklace. I first started one of my arrows hit the target then Sarah missed one then I shot two more and it went in the target. Sarah got so mad she was shooting it at me then I shot her but she caught it.
It was a long game but I got her I took the necklace and I threw it and it went down the hole. Everyone was so happy but Sarah was so mad we all ran out the gate we all saw. When we came outside we saw the arena then we saw a flight and it put down a ladder and we all got in. Sarah was still down there but who cares. the airplane driver was haymitch so we knew that we were okay. We all landed in the hotel and Sarah was there.
