chapter 10

"Are you sure I don't look dumb?" Yuri asked Jen, feeling slightly nervous like it was her and Yoongi's first date all over again. "Yuri...you look hot. Alright, girl? Don't ever think otherwise." Jen said, supportingly as she put lipstick on Yuri and started doing finishing touches to Yuri's makeup. "Heh, thank you Jen. Alright. Yoongi told me to meet him at the restaurant at 6, so I should head there soon." Yuri said. "You got this! Im going to go hang out with Jin, text me when yoongi knows so i can tell Jin all about it, alright?" Jen said, smiling. "Of course! I'll see you later!" Yuri hugged Jen goodbye and put on her heels. She grabbed her bag and keys and went out the door.

At the restaurant

Yuri went over to Yoongi, who was waiting for her. They're at the same restaurant they went to before Yoongi proposed. Yuri got all giddy thinking about that night... Yoongi stood up and pulled out a chair for Yuri, being a gentleman. Yuri sat down and Yoongi gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Hey baby." Yoongi said as he sat down. Yuri just smiled and said hello back. "You look really good. Is that a new dress?" Yoongi asked. He was being really sweet. "Actually yeah. Me and Jen met up today and we went shopping." Yuri said. "How's she doing? I met up with Jin and he told me they got engaged! It's just crazy..." Yoongi said. "She was telling me about that, I'm so happy for them. I'm glad they're finally back from their trip. I've missed them. We should get everyone together soon." Yuri said. "I agree. I haven't heard from Namjoon and Hoseok for awhile. Last I heard, they were in America." Yoongi said. The waiter came up and Yoongi ordered for both him and Yuri. "We should try and get in touch with everyone tomorrow. It'd be nice to have a cookout or something. Ever since we moved out of the house, everyone went their own separate ways. Anyways, have you heard back from that music company?" Yuri asked. " They called me earlier today and told me they liked my music but they wanted to change a few minor things to make it 'more pop-like' so I hung up." Yoongi said, looking down. "Well they suck, alright? You're music is amazing and powerful." Yuri said.  Yoongi and Yuri continued to talk about Yoongi's music for awhile and eventually went back to talking about the group and how they miss all the good times they had together when they were still in highschool. The waiter came and they started eating. There was a moment of silence between them so Yuri figured it was now or never. "So... yoongi." Yuri said, causing yoongi to look up at her. "Yeah?" He asked, food in the side of his cheek. Yuri set down her fork. "I have something to tell you and it's really really important." Yuri said, looking him directly in the eyes. Yoongi finished the food that was in his mouth and converted all of his attention to her.  "What is it?" He asked. "Actually, let me just show you.." Yuri said and pulled out her wallet. She pulled out the same picture she had showed Jen and handed it to Yoongi. Yoongi flipped the picture over to reveal the sonogram. His eyes widened and you could see a smile begin to appear. "Please tell me you're not joking." He said, still looking at the picture. "Of course I'm not joking. Yoongi, you're going to be a dad." Yuri said, smiling ar his reaction. He jumped up from his seat, as quietly as possible so they wouldn't get kicked out, and hugged Yuri just like Jen had did. He kissed Yuri and then put his hand on her stomach. "This is the best news I have ever received. I can not wait." Yoongi said, giving Yuri, yet another, hug and kiss.
