*2017*
I wake up to my alarm going off,
"Today's the day"graduation.
I get up and take a shower and shave my legs.
I get out the shower and put on some skinny jeans and a white tank and some black vans.Graduation isn't for another couple of hour so I have a little bit of of time to relax.
I go to the kitchen and pore a brown cereal and sat down on the couch.I turned the tv on and as soon as I was about to take bite of my cereal the door bell rang.
"Ugh,who could that be?"
"SUPRISE!!"Daniel yelled when I opened the door.
"AHHHH!!" I screamed.
Me and Daniel have been best friends since kindergarten.We are always together.
"So,you ready for today?" Daniel asked.
"I don't know I'm kinda nervous"I said.
I'm not really good at talking in front of a lot of people but I don't really have a choice today.
"Well,maybe we can go get some frozen yogurt to get you mind off of it,what do you think?"Daniel asked me.
"Yeah sure,just let me go put some makeup on real quick"
"Ugh,you and that makeup!"Daniel said and rolled his eyes.
I ran up stairs and put on some eyeliner and mascara on,I didn't want to put on to much because I'll be wearing more later.
I grabbed my phone and purse and we got in Daniels car and left to go to the froyo shop.
On our way there we listened to music and sang along to the radio.
"Wow!You can really sing!"
Daniel told me.
I sing all the time but never in front of anyone besides Daniel.
When we got to the froyo shop we ordered,
I got a mango flavored frozen yogurt and Daniel got a pineapple flavored frozen yogurt.
We sat down and we joked about things that's happened through the school years and just old memories.
When we were done we headed back to my house." It's about time to get ready for graduation,you should probably head home" I said.Right when I said that he got a text,*DING*
"Uh oh,my mom wants me back home to get ready for graduation"
I laughed and so did he.There was a awkward silence for a few seconds and we just kinda stared into each other's eyes.
"Well,I should get going before my mom freaks out"
I laughed and he headed out.
To be honest I've had feelings for Daniel for a very long time now but I'm just scared to tell him because I don't want to ruin our friendship or maybe even lose him.
My mom came downstairs and said "it's time to get ready for graduation"
I went upstairs and put on my dress and some dressy flats,I don't really like heels.
I redid my makeup and did my hair.Im really nervous,I'm praying I don't choke during my speech.I walk downstairs and my mom just had to take a few photos of me before we left.
"You look so beautiful honey,I'm so proud of you" she hugged me and I grabbed my phone and my purse and we left for graduation.
