PG Ouma POV
I was walking through the mall with shuichi til we passed hot topic, shuichi got excited and stopped, I stopped with him. "Oh my god Ouma look! It's Kyoko! And your favorite, Celeste! We can match!" Shuichi sounded really exited "o..ok! It would be nice to have matching shirts.." I agreed, I was interrupted by the feeling of shuichi's hand gripping mine, he dragged me into the store. He grabbed the shirts off of the shelf and held the Celeste one up to me. "it looks like it will fit!" He explained happily. "Y..yeah, if it doesn't I can always tuck it in!" I said excitedly. Shuichi brought them to the counter when I started to realize.. "wait! Shuichi.." I tugged on his sleeve. "I don't have any money on me! I can't pay.." I explained. "ok? I'll pay, kokichi!" He smiled. "O..oh..thank you shuichi but are you sure?" I asked him, tilting my head. "Yes I'm positive!" He said handing the cashier money. "Thanks for shopping." She said handing us the shirts. "We should change right now! C'mon ko!" Shuichi grabbed the bag then my hand, he dragged me to a nearby changing room. "You'll look so cute in it ko! Maybe one day we could join danganronpa! We'd be the Celeste and the kirigiri!" He held his fist in the air like an exited child. I laughed slightly "ok..I'll go change" I said grabbing the shirt and walked into a small stall. I quickly changed from my black turtle neck and changed into the Celeste shirt. I walked out and tucked the shirt into my white jeans. Shuichi walked out and stared at me. "I..um..how is it..?" I asked nervously. "Hey! You look amazing! How do I look?" He said smiling brightly. "You..you look great!" I said grabbing my turtle neck, I walked out of the dressing room and started walking around the mall. Suddenly I felt shuichi grab my hand. "K..kokichi!" He said almost with a scared voice. "Yeah? Are you ok..?" I asked worried. "Can..can we sign up for danganronpa?" His question made my heart sink. "S..shuichi? That is really dangerous." I said sweating. "You don't have to! I don't force you! Can I though?" He asked slightly dragging me to a sign up area, with almost 40 people waiting in line. "S..shuichi what? No! You can die!" I said worried. "Oh c'mon kokichi! I'll be fine! You can watch me from home! I'm gonna win for you!" He said letting go of me and walked in line. I was scared, way too scared, I got in line with him. "Kokichi?" "Shuichi I'm joining with you..." I said, my voice shaking. "You are?! We can be like kiri and Celeste! You can be my liar! I'll be your detective!" He smiled and grabbed my hands. I pulled away from his grip and hugged him. "I don't want to die, but if I die I'll die with you!" I said, almost crying.
We waited almost an hour for our turn. We got to the sign up area, shuichi grabbed a pen and signed his name and the talent he'd have. "Go on ko! It'll be alright!" He said handing me a purple pen. "O..ok." I wrote my name. "Wh..what for a talent?" I asked. "The ultimate supreme leader! That would be such a cool ultimate!" He said smiling at me. "Leader? Of what?" I asked, tilting my head. "Umm..evil!" He said patting my shoulder. "Oh..that doesn't sound like me..but..ok!" I said, writing the ultimate.
—3 days later—
I was sitting on my couch in shuichi's hoodie when I got a knock at the door, I walked over and opened it. It was shuichi! "Ko! Guess what! We got in!" I was confused. "In? What?" Suddenly I remembered. "Oh..oh god.." I suddenly got terrified. "Hey ko! It's ok, we still have to go to the auditions. C'mon! I'll walk you there! It's only 3 minutes away!" He said grabbing my hand. "Wait shuichi I should tell my parents.." I said, pulling away. I started walking to my parents room. "M..mom? Dad.." I said, my hands trembled. "Oh, yes kokichi? Are you alright?" My mom asked worried. "Shuichi said I got into danganronpa.. I'm scared" I started crying quietly. My mom got up immediately and ran over to hug me. My dad just got up and walked over. "Oh baby it's ok! Your strong! You'll survive, especially with shuichi with you!" My mom explains. I laugh quietly over my sobs. "I guess your right..you'll watch me survive right?" I asked. "Of course son!" My dad said joining in the hug. I pulled away and waved at them. I walked out side with shuichi. "Bye mom..bye dad!" I grabbed shuichi's hand and let out a breath. "Hey ko it'll be ok!" He said, smiling at me. "Your..wait.." Shuichi stopped on the sidewalk, so I stopped as well. "You ok shuichi?" I asked. "Are you wearing my hoodie..?" He asked, almost turning red. "Oh..um yes.." I said scratching the back of my neck. Shuichi turned a light pink. "O..oh! Ok..um..ok let's just go!" He said grabbing my hand and started walking faster. We finally got to the building. I looked at him. "Shuichi? We're gonna survive right?" I asked. "Of course ko.." he said gripping my sweaty hand harder. "Kokichi, if we end up losing our memories, can I tell you something crazy?" He asked. "Um..ok..?" I said confused. Shuichi picked me up bridal style suddenly. "W-what shu?!" I asked flustered "I love you..I hope we can survive the killing game!" He said and kissed me. He pulled away and put me down. I was in shock, I stumbled back. "I..uh..ok.um..letsjustgointhebuilding" I said quickly, while turning red. Shuichi smiled and grabbed my hands he pulled me into the building.
"We are going to survive this! Together!"
