My King || a YOONMIN AU story

Yoongi P.O.V.

I've been in the library for hours, reading about the legends of my Kingdom. There are so many but the one that woman told me was indeed one of those who were written down.

A non-human creature that lived in the human realm would become the New King of my kingdom and that way a new era would start. She said she had a vision that the creature was making his way to the castle and it could either turn out realy great for both humans and underworlders or extremely bad.

As I was searching for a way to get this situation more under control I found a thin book solely about this legend. I took it and made my way into my study. I immediately sat down and began reading the book, I had to make sure my people were safe. Sitting down, I opened the book and started reading it through.

Jimin P.O.V.

Taehyung chuckles as we unlocked the door. We had gone to the mall where we shopped and drank for a few hours. Our mother had to come pick us up since we were a little tipsy and I didn't let taehyung drive because he was more drunk then I was. If i could drive i would've but I don't have my license since I gave up on trying after failing four times.

"Boys, there's food in the fridge, eat something and go to bed okay?" Tae's mom said and went upstairs. It was already late. I took my phone and called Jin to inform him about the dinner we had to attend.

"Hi Jiminie" The elder picked up. "What's up?" He said. I explained to him that we were invited to attend a dinner at the castle. "The king personally wrote me a letter" I added to my explanation. Seokjin cheered and chuckled. "That is so cool!" He said as he was excited. "Well I'm happy to tell you that i have nothing to do and am happy to come with you guys" he told me through the phone. "I'll be at your house at four that day, if that's okay" I smiled, happy that he would come. "Is good! I'll let the king know asap" I said to Jin. "Anyway, I'll leave you be, have a good night" I chuckled and hung up after Seokjin said his goodbyes.

Taehyung had already warmed up noodles for us and put them on the table. "I'm surprised you can warm up a meal drunk" I chuckled and sat down at the table. "Hey! I'm not that bad of a cook." He pouted as I laughed. "Honey, this morning you couldn't even make scrambled eggs." I reminded him and stuffed my mouth with delicious noodles. We talked and laughed before cleaning up our mess and going to our rooms, since Tae was tired as hell.

As I entered my room. There were flower petals all around my desk as a letter was on it as well. As I opened the envelope an amazing smell filled my room. "God he's such a sweetheart" I chukled and read the letter, then placed it in the shoebox where I put my first letter in for safekeeping. I took a pink piece of paper and a red pen which made it look like I was writing some kind of love letter.

My dearest king,

Before I start my letter, how are you doing, the kings life must be hard.

Now for the things I wanted to write you; my friends have just confirmed that they will be attending. Thanks again for the invitation.

Also thank you for the flower petals that came with your letter. You see, flowers are one of my favorite things. It was a cute gesture.

I chuckled as I folded the letter i just wrote so I could put it in an envelope. I shouldn't be writing the king when tipsy but I just couldn't wait anymore. It was just to exciting to get those magical letter back. I wrote his name in the envelope, putting hearts on the i's as dots and placed a peck on the letter before placing it on my window sill.

I then layed down in my bed as I was tired from todays shopping. Right when I had just taking of my shirt to go sleep my letter lit up, transforming in floating  little dots that gave light. My mouth fell open in disbelief as the lights made their way to me. I chuckled as I let them    go around my face and then move around my arm that I held out. It made me feel warm inside.

They moved away from me and suddenly formed what looked like the king sitting at his desk. "Yoongi.." i mumble as I walked closer to the projection of him. It looked like it was showing what he was doing right now. I smiled as I held the face of the projection. "Good night my king." I said and let go of his face as the dots all dissapeared right on the place where I touched the kings face. I sat down, holding my hand close to my chest. It felt like I had touched his face. It was soft but cold.

Sighing deeply I sat down on my bed and fell asleep while thinking about what just happened. It felt like it was a dream since all the underworld stuff was still new to me.
