A man walked into the classroom with a small gentle smile on his lips as his eyes went along to look at the students one by one.
He was dressed in a dark red suit with his black hair groomed back with gel so it looked neat.
I looked over to my brother and our eyes met.
He had a tiny look of worry on his face must of remembered who the dark red suit's were for.
I sighed loudly how could my day get any worse, I should stop asking myself that.
Our teacher got to his feet from where he sat on his black chair behind the wooden desk.
"How may I help you?" Mr Dixon asked the man.
"The government has just asked for some people to go to every school across the country and get opinions from the students on how they think the schooling programs are doing." The man replied. "Would you mind if I asked your class some questions?" He asked the teacher.
"Do what you gotta." Mr Dixon replied.
"Thank you. Ok when I ask just put your hand up for yes and just keep them down if you disagree." Everyone mumbled an answer under their breath from yes to yes sir.
"Ok, first question, do you like going to this school?" Only a quarter of the class didn't put their hand up.
"Second question, do you feel accepted here?" Half the class put their hands up. The man in the suit mumbled something under his breath what sounded something like "okay raising empathy levels to 90% ."
I looked around the class and they didn't look affected by that side comment. Then I looked towards the teacher he was giving the man an sideway what the hell did you just say look? He heard it then looked around the class and locked eyes with me as I silently asked to talk to him after classes. He nodded his head then looked back at the man at the front of the classroom.
"On to question three, all of you got those needle's?" Everyone raised their hands including me.
"Okay I think I'm done here, thank you for your time."
"You're welcome." The teacher replied as the man slowly started to turn towards the door and left.
"Okay so where we?"
The bell rang and everyone started to pack their things and left.
"Sir may I speak to you?" I asked.
"I already said yes Carlos what would you like to talk about, is it your math homework because that is the only thing I can not help you with." He replied.
I gave a short chuckle at that always has been one of my best teacher's because of his humour.
"Um it's not my homework no, um its about that man that came into the classroom at the start of the lesson." Mr Dixon gave me a weird look.
"Okay."
" This might take a while so I'm." The teacher interrupted me and said "why don't you get yourself a seat." So I grabbed a chair from the closest desk and sat In front of the desk.
"Okay what's bothering you about these people Carlos?"
I sighed really loudly and started this rollercoaster of facts and crazy conspiracies.
"Do you remember Zoe?"
"Yes isn't she sick?" He asked.
"Way from it actually, she has been kidnapped."
"What!? Why didn't you tell anyone?" He asked well shouted.
"Because she was kidnapped by the people in the red suit's and they work for the government what could I do. Go up to the police and tell them, oh a girl in my class has need kidnapped by the government so do you think you could help me out? No they'd probably send my to a therapist and mark me crazy. What was I supposed to do?" I asked.
"You have a point kid. Okay um anything else I should know about?"
"I think they are going after someone else."
"Okay who do you think it is?"
"I don't know but..."
"But what?"
"I don't know, you think I'm crazy don't you." I said waving my hands around.
Mr Dixon picked up his pen and started to twiddle with it while looking into my eyes.
"Look kid I don't think you are lying I'm just trying to think of something to do about it. We can't go to the school board they would laugh at our faces. Do you think you could try and find out who the next person will be?"
"Um sure, sir would you mind if I asked you why you believe me?"
" I got a feeling off of them the moment they stepped into this school." He replied. "Now go try and find out who it is next."
"Thank you." I said standing up from my chair while he gave me a small smile.
I walked out the door and towards the lunch area.
While I was walking past the back of the school I saw a van with the same symbol circle with a triangle through it. Then I heard a scream it was a girl and she was being dragged by a tall lanky man with his hand around her mouth while he pushed her into the back of the vehicle.
I started to run back towards the classroom I just came out of.
I bursted through the door and gave the teacher a fright by the looks of it, but no time to think about that.
"They took Chelsie." That's all I had to say for him to run out of the classroom and into the hallways. "Where did they take her?"
"Back of the school." I said running after him.
A minute later we got there with only the vehicles tyre tracks left.
"Shit!!!!" The teacher yelled.
"What are we going to do now?" I asked, while he stared at the marks the van left in the dirt road.
