I am in a foreign land
A land where I am unknown.
A land where I am non-existant
A land where I am hidden
Among the trees, that stand too tall for me to climb
Among the prying eyes,
too sharp for me to avoid.
Among the edge-cutting words
Too harsh for me not to break.
No one will notice
Whereas if I go missing
People would say I was never there.
I am in a foreign land
A land where I hide in the shadows
A land where I am invisible
A land where everything but me exists.
