Chapter 7

"What a mess. This girl can't keep her room straight to save her own life." His mom says beginning to pick up washing.

The boy pulls out his phone and begins to text his mom. "Hey mom, gonna be a bit late getting home, went out to get the pizza x"

The boy sighs in release and takes off his beanie. Long bleached blonde hair falls down his shoulders in waves, he takes off his hoodie to reveal a binder, turning around he proceeds to take off his binder and replace it with a bra and a fitted shirt. Shaking his hair into place her takes our his phone and scrolls down to find a contact that can help. He eventually stops on one named Taylor who he hasn't messaged since he was little but he knows he can help. Weighing up his options he decides to text him.

"Hi, umm... I know we haven't spoken in a while and we don't really get on well but you're the only one who would understand. My mom came home while I was dressed as was at the park and if she finds out I'm a boy she'll freak and kick me out. You two have always gotten on well, can you call her and ask he for some help with something, just so I can go out and come back. She thinks I'm out at the minute getting pizza. Please, you're my only chance. I don't know who else to go to."

A few minutes later his phone buzzes. A message from Taylor appears. "OK."

He hears his mom's phone ringing, her voice carries "Oh, hi! Long time no see. How can I help?" A pause in the conversation. "Of course! I'll be straight there. No, no, no, it's no problem at all. Luna's out getting pizza so it's fine. Okay, see you in a few."

The door closes and the sound of the car reversing out of the drive quest him knowing that it's now safe to leave. He breathes a sigh of relief and another two texts come through. His mom saying that she has popped out to help Taylor and one from Taylor saying it done.

He gets out of the wardrobe and grabs the five pound note that was on the bed and heads out the door to go get the pizza.
