Richies POV

june 24 1989

richie woke up, last day of school, and the day. the day he was going to ask eddie out! yeah, may sound crazy. but it was time..

richie put on a red shirt with a pac- man design on it and blue jeans with a blue floral shirt.

richie packed his school bag and lunch. he also had his glasses.

he hopped on his bike, going to school. he was only excited because it was the last day of school and he got to ask eddie out..

Eddies POV

eddie woke up, and put on a pink shirt with black pants. he went into the kitchen and grabbed a banana for breakfast. packed his bag and snuck out without giving his mom a kiss. eddie finally got his own phone, he brought it everywhere! richie had one two, they weren't the best, but they had one! he dialed in richies number as he got on the bike and took off

Richies POV

richie was a couple minutes away from school when he heard a ring from his phone, he answered the phone to hear Eddie. Eddie shouted out "Hey!", something about the way he said it just.. made Richie feel happy! Richie said "Hi Eddie Spaghetti." back, knowing it would make Eddie laugh. Eddie let out a tiny laugh. Then Eddie said "I'll meet you at school trashmouth" Richie said back "Yeah, tiny boy."
Eddie answers with "Shut up Richie." Richie laughed and Eddie hung up.

Richie arrived, locked his bike up and waited for Eddie. No sight of him, he looked at the bikes to see if his was there. Nope.. strange Richie thought to himself. Finally, Richie saw Eddie coming down the street. When Eddie arrived, Richie said "Why are you late?" Eddie said back " Maybe your to early!" Richie laughed and walked into school with Eddie following. Richie and Eddies lockets weren't far away from each other, so they could still talk while getting stuff from their lockers. Richie had the note he was going to slip in Eddies locker. Eddie went to class and Richie slipped the note in Eddies locker. Richie went to class.

Eddies POV

"Algebra is boring" Eddie thought you himself, he opened his book and did his work. Once class was done. He went to his locker and saw the note, it said this

Richies POV

Richie scurried to the roof and got ready for Eddie to come.

Eddies POV

Eddie ran to the roof, scared but excited.. he saw a tall boy, looking nervous, it looked like.. Richie? Eddie ran to Richie and said " Did you write the note?" Richie turned around and mumbled yes. Eddie heard and asked " What do you have to confess?" Richie mumbled " I like you" Eddie said back, "I like you as a friend too!" Richie said " No! Like, I like like you!!" Eddie gasped, he hugged Richie and cried. Eddie said back " I love you too" and squeezed Richie as tight as he could. Richie picked up Eddie and hugged him back. Stan and Bill came up and Bill said "W-we can leave y-you guys b-be." Bill and Stan waited at the bike lock thingy. Eddie and Richie came down holding hands, Eddie looked at his watch. "Shit! It's 3:58, my mothers going to fucking kill me!" Stan said back " You've gone missing for 24 hours before, she'll be OK with you being a bit late. Eddie hopped on his bike and said to the boys " Meet me at the quarry at 4:30! Bring bathing suits and tell the losers!" Richie said back "Alright Eddie spaghetti!" Eddie rode off giggling. When he arrived, his mom was waiting at the door. His mom said " Why are you a half hour late?! Where were you!?" Eddie said " I was doing something" trying to get past her and get to his room. His mother grabbed his arm, " Eddie, you are NOT walking away from me. Who were you with?!" Eddie said " I was with friends" Eddies mom shot back with " Those people who BROKE my little Eddies arm?!" Eddie tried to run but his mom was too strong. "EDDIE! TAKE YOUR PILLS!" she shoved the pills in Eddies mouth, he felt drowsy and fell down, blacking out the second he hit the ground.

His mother brought him to his room, put him on his bed and gave him a kiss. Eddie woke up not long after " Shit! It's 4:23! I have to get to the quarry."! He put on swimming trunks, packed a bag, put some clothes on top of his swim suit and got through his window. He jumped on to his bike as his mom spotted him, she tried to get him but couldn't she ran inside, grabbed her keys and got in the car, Eddie was already heading to the quarry though. By the time he arrived, it was 4:34, he looked around for everybody.. nobody was there, he look down in the water. Then he felt somebody pick him up, he screamed and fell in the water. Following down came Richie, Eddie splashed in the Richie did right after. Richie didn't mean to put Eddie in the water, he wanted to pick him up and hug him. But he fell in. Eddie wasn't seen, Richie dove under and saw Eddie, he picked Eddie up and could tell Eddie was scared so panicked and couldn't swim back up. Richie held Eddie and held him tight, the rest of the losers splashes in. Eddie laid in Richies arms, enjoying every second. He cuddled up to Richie. They both held each other tight.

Richie came up with the idea that the losers should play Truth or Dare. They all agreed. Beverly dared Bill to scream " I BANGED MY MOM!" Bill did it. Everybody laughed. Then Bill dared Eddie to kiss Richie. Eddie stared and said, "Can I skip this because I mean I don't have his consen-" Richie kissed Eddie, holding him and feeling his warm lips. He loved every second of it, he held Richie and enjoyed it. Eddie stopped for breath. The losers were in love, it was adorable. Bill said " I-I didn't say m-make out!" Richie blushed and Eddie hid his face. Stan laughed. Eddie dared Stan to kiss Bill. Bill and Stan stared. Bill leaned in and kissed him. They had a 20 second long kiss, not as long as Richie and Eddies though...
