Lev's pov.

I screwed up.
The girls gape, time slowing while the previous events overtake our memories.
"Let me get you up."
Slow as time itself, i am pulled upwards from the ground,Haruh gulping the thick air, perhaps to avoid  dewy tears from shedding.

Her eyes remained glazed over in fear her fists creasing the rim of her dress.
"I screwed up." She whispered."i screwed up."
My face burned ferociously hands clenching the sore patch of reddened skin.

"I'm leaving." Everyone's eyes trailed to mine wide in suspicion. "And when i come back." I slowly walk towards the door.

"She will be with me." Haruh gave a weak smile her eyes seemingly glistening."glad to hear it." She suddenly pulled me into an embrace."And when you see her."

Her breath became hitched." Explain everything, for your sake and hers."
I slowly nodded. "I will."
She pulled back, a tight grip still remaining.

I exhale.
"Remind me why you brought me here." The neon lighting blinded my eyes ,the smoke of the stage drenched in sweat the scent of a thousand cigarettes and whiff of sweet mountain dew corroded my taste buds.

My father remained stiff , both of us inhaling the foreignness  of the club, mentally adjusting to the fast paced  House music.

The both of us. My father took a stale breath automatically coughing afterwards. Something of a pattern,a routine never retreating from it's blue print.

For my father, CHOW. to drag both of us out of our comfort zone still stands as eerily disturbing. Our Car-key brownie hoodies whipped over our faces, like a  lost Cave forging warmth around my body.

It smelled of my mother.

"You do realise if anyone recognizes you here, the news will have an advantage over you, right?"

My father's features harden, then soften.
"That energy, that power, you can quite literally taste it, absorb it,visualize it."
I stare at him, "what?"
He suprisingly grunts.
I raise an eyebrow.

"The sweet aroma of shirley temples  and cigar fumes?"
My father's fingers pinch his nose bridge. "That my son,is marijuana. You will recognize the smell well in due time."

ugh.

My father recollects his forced smile." The power of the music, what emotions it evoke, the power of one nightclub, can do so much, in such short time."

I grimace. So this was his plan all along... To buy Plus tokyo

Plus Tokyo, a Nightclub in a area of high-end brands and numerous department stores. But among the Sparkling Shirley temples and aqua blue neon glowing light sticks, Plus is one of the city's hottest areas to celebrate, and i mean literally, beads of sweat sped down my father's yellow skin. This was definetley not my scene. Not anymore.

Each room has a different theme –  an enormous painting of Mount Fuji with murals in Japanese  bathing spots.  We had inhabited the punk-themed VIP Platform, illuminated with pink hued lighting which blinded me for long enough, wasn't this hood was  supposed to be useful for this kind of thing?

"I know after She passed, things had been hard on you." I stares at him in amusement. Hard?

How about brutal.

"You stopped listening to music, that idol thing you had planned went downhill, i knew it would but."  I  mentally snap my my eyes shut to block him out. "Good to know i still have somewhat of a father on my side, if i can even call you that."
