The doctors ran very many tests but we held up what little hope we had left. We had been in this hospital for 4 days doing just that. These tests would determine if lili was able to breath on her own. When they took off the breathing tube she laid there motionless. No breathing. The doctors ran one more test determining the amount of activity/ movement in her brain. The results came later on the day. She had no brain activity. This new information brought a cloud of grieve over us. We asked questions we never knew we ask before. And for the first time in awhile i attended a funeral. One that no one had expected coming. The one thing i learned from this is "be greatful for what you have and who you have 'cause one minute they are there then the next gone leaving nothing but pictures and memories behind." -Kayley Newberry.
