Chapter 6

-Davion POV-

I finally just returned back home from the date with Faith. Towards the end was really kinda toxic and off. I think she's convinced herself that I'm honestly no good, I only want her for sex, and that I'm a fuck boy. I mean she should've never asked me what my body count was...that's like a very invasive question for a women to ask a man. But anyways I'm home now so I can just and keep to myself.

"Davion Josiah Harris!" I heard my mom from downstairs yelling a loud.

"Yes?" I responded back yelling.

"Boy who you yelling at? Bring yo ass downstairs."

"Fine" I mumbled to myself walking downstairs.

As I was walking downstairs I'd seen my mom standing at the door with my ex Taylor.

"You've got company." My mom stated walking upstairs to her room.

I opened up my eyes wide as hell in shocked. "Wh-wha-What are you doing here?" I asked beginning to stutter. Closing the door behind her.

"I tired calling you, but you didn't pick up the phone."

"Wait you're this number?" I asked holding out my phone in her face.

"Yes."

"Oh I didn't know thought it was a scammer calling, anyways what are you doing here?"

"I wanted to talk you about something important."

"That is? And before you say some dumb ass shit...that baby in your stomach is not mine right?"

"One how'd you even know that I was pregnant? And two of course not, the baby isn't yours."

"Justin told me you were pregnant."

"Well did he tell you that it was his brothers?"

"Ewwwww. Jerome's? Taylor you just keep going out sad like everyday. Like what's next you gotta STD too..or lemme guess you got caught cheating or sucking dick in a car?"

"Wow. That's how you really and genuinely think about me." She replied back beginning to cry.

"Oh my god and here you go crying..for what?" I asked walking her towards the living room.

"It's just the hormones..I'm ok."

"Ok then. So I'll ask you again what are you really here for?"

"Well Jerome's out of jail an-and I don't want him to know that I'm pregnant...or he really may just kill me for real this time."

"Why would he want to kill you. You too have been good last time I heard. And he should be happy..he's becoming a father."

"Davion you were honestly the last healthy relationship I've been in since. Things between Jerome and I were going good, until he started becoming more involved in the streets. He's became a lot more aggressive and forceful, and it's just been different I don't feel the same about him anymore."

"He's been hitting you huh?"

"Yes."

"Oh my god, Taylor why didn't you tell your folks or someone?!!" I asked raising my voice.
