- Taylor's POV -
Jordan and I walked inside of the mall together holding hands. The first store we went to was "The Children's Place" the clothes there are so cute and hella good quality. We walked around and picked out a few pieces for our baby girl. She's most definitely going to be the most dripped out baby...with the help of Jordan of course. We picked out 12 dresses ($35 each) 6 headbands ($7) and 10 pairs of shoes ($20). About 15 mins went by and we couldn't find nothing else so we decided to check out.
(w/o tax 662) "Alright tour total is $675.24."
I took out my card about to pay, but Jordan stopped me.
"Yo baby you don't have to pay for anything at all today. I gotchu."
"Jordan I can't let yo-"
"I know but come on please? I feel obligated. This is my child too."
"True."
"Right so I'll pay."
"Bae you really don't have to."
"But I want to."
"Ok fine, do you."
I went on ahead an placed my card back inside of my wallet. Jordan really proceeded with the checkout. I really don't like when men pay for my things. Sometimes they get too hyped up and throw it in your face later to make you feel like crap. I've just personally preferred paying for my own shit, I had to learn the hard way to not depend on no man to take care of me. Shits not a good feeling. I would always feel useless, and trapped especially if the situation was toxic asf. Anyways we gathered the bags and we both proceeded upstairs to the "NeimanMarcus" store. It was a really cute store. We walked around the store a lil bit and finally picked some items. I picked out 2 GUCCI Ruffle shirts (350 each) and 4 GUCCI polo type shirts (250 each). Jordan picked out mad shoes. For what reason I don't know. He picked out 8 pairs of shoes (330 each).
"Alright princess you ready?"
"Yeah let's checkout. I'm tired."
"Ight."
We walked towards checkout counter.
"Jordan why do you have so many shoes?"
"Our baby isn't about to be these kids recycling the same shoes everyday. She needs options."
"I don't want her to spoiled."
"And she's not going to be."
I sighed and the clerk greeted us.
"Did you have any trouble finding anything today?"
We both responded back "no" in unison.
(w/o tax 4,340) "Alright your total is $4,469 and 15 cents."
"Really that's all?
"Yep." The clerk responded back.
When I heard that price y'all my heart almost dropped, but Jordan heard it as if it was nothing. He then took out his card and proceeded with the checkout. Jordan has never really talked about his job with me either now that I think about it. All I know is he's trying to become a lawyer at the moment, and he's a big investor. I think I'm honestly just over thinking it...
