The bed rung signaling school was over for y/n and she smiled as she told her friends bye and grabbed her bag and left to her car.

Y/n went by the store and got some dinner for tonight and left to the daycare to pick up her daughter Melanie.

Melanie is 7 months and has the most bubbly personality and also a little sassy sometimes but that's why y/n loves her.

Melanie dad is no where he left when y/n told him she was pregnant so she's been a single mother for a while now.

All her family has turned their back on her for getting pregnant at a young age so she only has her close friends to depend on.

Y/n makes money for being a YouTuber and has a part time job tutoring people.

Y/n pov:

Once I got home I took the groceries in first then went back to the car to get Mel out the car and brought everything else in the house.

I put Mel in her play pin while I got dinner ready since it was lasagna.

After I put it in the oven I took Mel out her play pin and took her upstairs getting her ready for bath time.

I heard the door bell go off so I picked Mel up and went downstairs and looked through the peep hole to see my bestfriend jamell.

I opened the door seeing him with gifts in his hands as Mel smiled seeing him.

"Hey princess." He said coming in the house taking Mel out my hand as she giggled at him.

"Hey beautiful." He said as he kissed my forehead.

"Heyy."I said as we walked upstairs.

"Can you give her a bath while I finish cooking and cleaning?"

"Yeah."

I went downstairs and started on some Mac and cheese.

After I did that I cleaned up the house and heard the timer going off meaning that the lasagna was done.

So I went and took it out the over and fixed plates and fixed Mel some juice in her cup and got me and melly a soda as they came downstairs.

"Are y'all ready to eat?" I asked them sitting down.

"Yeah." He said putting Mel in her high chair.

"So how's work going?" I asked biting into a piece of my lasagna.

"It's going okay I have a new album coming out soon."he said making me smile at him.

"I'm proud of you."I said as he nodded his head at me.

"If anything I'm proud of you being a single mom has to be hard and keeping a job while going to college."He said as mel started coughing.

"Aww thank you." I said while patting Mel on her back.

Once we finished dinner we all went into the room and watched tv for a bit.

I heard light snores and saw melly had Mel on his chest and they were both sleeping which made me smile.

He's the only father figure she has in her life and he really acts like a dad when it comes to her.

I picked Mel up and carried her to her room and layed her down pulling her blanket over top of her and kissed her forehead and cutting on the baby monitor and going back in my room to see him on my side of the bed.

"Bighead move your body." I said trying to move his body.

He groaned as he moved over.

"Goodnight love you." He said wrapping his arms around my body as I smiled.

"Love you to."
