chapter 10

"Have you find a partner for the ball?" Draco asked out of nowhere, of course that reminded harry that he had to find a partner quickly if he didn't wanted to go to the ball alone. "Well..no..I haven't really tried to find one". Draco frowned and harry looked at him confused. "Is it because of me?" He asked which made harry to panic. "No of course no, it's just I am not into someone at this moment" when he said that,he felt a huge pain in his pain like he was lying. Draco nodded and they sad in an awkward silence which harry broke after a few minutes. "If you wouldn't be here,who would you ask for the ball?". That made draco frown. "Eh,i am not quite sure.." he answered. Harry spotted a bit of a blush on his face. "Are you sure?". Draco seemed to panicked a bit. "Yes, what do you want from me potter?!". Harry just laughed and didn't say anything.

~the day of the ball~

The whole castle was decorated by the most beautiful finery. "How is it harry?" Hermione asked as she turned around. Harry rolled his eyes. She have been try every dress of her wardrobe at least 20 minutes now. "Yes Hermione,you look amazing,I believe that ron will notice it too". She blushed and looked herself at the mirror. "Do you have a partner?". She asked.
"Oh crap!, I totally forgot about that?". He face palmed. He was too busy this days with draco, he totally forgot about the ball. "Harry you are going to the ball without a partner!, Merlin you are an idiot!" .

(I was actually planning to be pansmione and blairon but I changed my mind and it will be just ronmione and drarry )

They headed to the dinning room where the found Ron with Neville and Luna. Ron smiled at Hermione and both went for a dance. "Hello harry" luna said. She was wearing a pink dress with flowers on in. "Hi there luna, Neville". He forced a smiled. He didn't really want to be there, but he didn't have any choice anyways. Neville looked around him. "You didn't bring a partner?" He asked and looked harry slightly confused. "Eh not really, I have to go anyways.." . "But you just got here!" Luna groaned and harry looked at her apologetically. "Sorry it reallly is an emergency..". He managed to get out of the dinning room, soon he would be close to the whomping willow.

"Where to potter?!" The cirrhotic voice of pansy Parkinson was heard behind harry. He turned around quickly,only to see pansy and blaise. "Mind your own business Parkinson" he was about to leave when blaise said something that made him frown. "I think you know where draco is?" He turned around slowly only to see blaise smirking. "I don't have any idea what are you talking about zabini". Blaise didn't answered but only smirked. Harry turned around and left. He looked behind him a few times to see if they follow his,they didn't.

"'Draco?" He said but he didn't get a response. Harry saw draco looking outside of a small hole, and it broke harry's heart, it really did and he didn't know why. Draco didn't seem to have noticed him though. "Draco.." he whispered, when finally draco notice that harry was there his tail stared moving up and down happily. Harry thought it was adorable and he looked exactly like a puppy, he couldn't help but smirk. "You seem happy to see me here?" He said as he sat down next to him. Draco scoffed and rolled his eyes. "No, I don't ". " your tail tells me otherwise". Draco tried to stop his tail from moving but he failed miserable. They sat for a minute in silence.

"What were you looking before?" Harry asked even though he knew quite well. "Well..you know..the ball" draco answered trying not to sound sad or something, it would be pathetic and he didn't want that, especially in front of harr- potter. A slow romantic music started playing and probably the couples right now were dancing while hugging. It made draco wanted to puke but at the same time he felt kinda jealous of them, and harry seemed to noticed that, after he stood up and over his hand to draco blushing lightly.

Harry was sure that draco would just probably say a rude and cold "no" or even scratch him and tell him to "get the hell out of here" but harry couldn't stand seeing him like this so he just did it. Because he was a good person, yes a good person!. Nor that he has feelings or something, it's draco malfoy for Merlin's bread. To his surprise, draco didn't say anything, stood up, hold his hand looked at him in the eye and said. "We are just gonna obliviate each other later ". Harry seemed disappointed, he didn't want that but he just nodded and started dancing with draco malfoy in silence.

It wasn't awkward, it was kinda relaxing to draco and he felt safe into harry's strong arms. Draco knew the music, it was the one that his parents danced to their wedding, of course he didn't remember they he was too young. He always wanted to dance this song with the one he loves, and he relaxed his was. And he released that..

He was falling in love with the scratchhead or the boy who lived or the harry damn potter....
