Harry pov

The days went by and by and me and draco didn't talk at all. For the first time in my life I was sad that draco didn't talk to me. I was on my way to the Gryffindor tower when I saw a similar figure in the library. I quickly followed him until he sat on a table next to a girl with brown hair and brown eyes. I think here name was Astoria?. Anyways I sat on a table too far away so I could watch them. Astoria was being too flirty with draco but he didn't seem to realised or he just ignore it. Anyways when Astoria finally left,I went over to draco. When he saw me he immediately started packing his things to leave.

"Draco!" I yelled as he started running away. When I finally reached him, I grabbed his hand but in a few seconds I heard a growl and I felt pain on my cheeks. I touched my cheek shocked. I looked at draco nails,they had my blood. Draco was shocked, he slowly started to go backwards shocked of what he did. "Draco is not your fault, you didn't mean to!" I said trying to calm him down, however draco run way and I had to chase after him again. For the moment I lost him but then I heard cries coming from the boy's toilets. I slowly went in only to see draco crying over the sink and a broken mirror with his left hand with blood.

I felt my heard broken. I couldn't stand seeing him like this. I slowly went closer to him. " you're not a monster, you know that right?" I whispered. He sniffed. "Stay away from me potter, I will only hurt..." his voice was heard hurt from crying. I took a step closer to him, he didn't seem to noticed it. "I wish I could, but I can't draco". He slowly turned to look at me, his eyes were red, he wasn't the draco malfoy I knew. He looked broken. "I.." I tried to say. "I....want to protect you draco!" I finally said. He frowned for a moment but he started coming closer to me. "D-drac- mhh!".
