Sting's Turn

The Sabertooth Guildmaster Sting Eucliffe sat on his bed inside his room, running his hand through his blond hair and a contemplative expression adorning his face. He couldn't seem to rid his thoughts of a certain pink hired female dragon Slayer.

Sting was roused from his thoughts when he heard a knock at his door. "Enter" He spoke, looking calm.

Rogue enters his room to see how his friend was faring. "Sting, if you want we should go visit Natsumi if she's all you think about." Rogue surmised folding his arms.

Sting bristled, trying not to be affected by the pinkette's name that came out of his friend's mouth. He didn't offer up a argument the male stands up, stretching he follows after Rogue still a bit hesitant about visiting Natsumi.

The pair enters the guild halls, sting of course greets his fellow guildmates, as for Rogue he just continues to walk until he reached the doors. Sting jogs up to Rogue, he opens up the doors that lead outside.

Before leaving sting looks back at his guildmates with a predatory grin. "Don't do anything stupid while I'm away or you guys will regret it" He warns them and with that warning in the air Sting and Rogue head to The Fairytail Guild which isn't that far from their guild.

~At The Fairytail Guild~

Natsumi was in a heated conversation with Gajeel, the conversation wasn't about anything in particular normally the two would be fighting but instead they were arguing about who's stronger.

Natsumi brings her fists together standing firm. "Metal head! You know I'm stronger than you, hell I just might be strong enough to take down that arrogant bastard on the second floor!" She declared.

Both Gajeel and Laxus barked out boisterous laughter at natsumi's sudden claim.

Natsumi takes immediate offense to them laughing rather loudly at her. She opens her mouth to protest but was cut off by Laxus.

" Nat the day you beat me is the day I concede defeat" Laxus smugly spoke, looking eerily calm.

" Oh, yeah! Come down here and we'll see!" Natsumi yelled, igniting her fists readying to charge up to the second floor, but before she could the doors to the guild open. Sting and Rogue step inside causing all eyes to go to the twin dragon slayers.

Natsumi stopped her angry tirade to turn her attention to Sting, cocking her head to the side she stared at him in wonder.

" Hey Sting. What brings you here?" Natsumi questions, walking over to him and not so gently pushing Rogue to the side so that she could be up in his personal space.

Sting takes a nervous step back, sweating anxiously. Just her being near him made him slightly nervous. Even if she was a dragon slayer like him. "I uhh... I came here because I wanted to ask if you're willing to go on a date with me" He meekly said.

Everyone in the guild gasped, mainly shocked that someone of high caliber would ask natsumi out. Heck even gray was shocked his jaw dropped and he felt a twinge of jealousy at the way Natsumi's eyes sparkled when sting asked her.

" Of course! I'd love to go on a date with you Sting!" Natsumi happily replied, beaming with joy.

Sting causally placed his arms behind his head, looking down at Natsumi.

The pink haired female, then looks to her clothes realizing that she didn't have anything nice to wear. She gestures to her outfit which happened to be black pants her white scarf, bindings across her chest and her orange and black vest. "Sting... I don't have anything particularly girly to wear." Natsumi spoke.

" That doesn't matter just meet me in front of my guild tomorrow, and we'll have fun" Sting prompted, giving natsumi a assuring smile. Him and Rogue leave Fairytail and heads back to their guild.

Once the twin dragon slayers left everyone began to crowd around natsumi bombarding her with questions that she couldn't answer. She became overwhelmed, and pushes her way through her guildmates to sit down.

" That was... Riveting I didn't expect Sting to ask me out..." Natsumi says to herself, resting her hands on each side of her face, as she sighed.

" You're one lucky gal to be asked out by Sting cause he's a looker" Cana coyly says taking a seat next to the confused natsumi.

" He is attractive but it caught me off guard." Natsumi honestly said, scratching her cheek still semi confused about the whole situation.

" Tch he ain't that good looking" Gray spoke up from the sidelines a peeved look on his face. Natsumi angrily approached him she jabbed her finger in his face her eyes cold and devoid of emotion.

" You WILL not badmouth Sting he has decency unlike you. He carries himself with pride and at least he doesn't undress. So remind me who's better you or him?" Natsumi coldly asked the temperature in the guild deceasing due to her anger.

Gray glowered at the female dragon slayer, hating that her words effected him, despite everything they been through she still choose sting over him.

" Open your eyes Natsumi! I like you.! And yet you still choose him over me..." Gray says his voice breaking. Natsumi felt guilty but how was she supposed to know how feelings worked?

Cana gets in between the two sighing.

" You two quit it. Gray you can't control on who natsumi likes it is her decision. And Natsumi don't be oblivious to how gray feels" Cana spoke on a chastising voice.
