Returning Home

After their endeavor at the inn in Shirotsume Town, both Gray and Natsumi still haven't discovered their feelings for each other.

During the train ride back to Haregon natsumi looked as if she wanted to puke, gray however stopped her from doing so by placing his hand on her back, the pinkette weakly looks up at him not saying anything. "I know you have motion sickness we'll be there soon so just rest." He assured her in a soothing tone.

Natsumi remained quiet closing her eyes, knowing that gray was rubbing soothing circles on her back.

By the time the pair arrived in Magnolia it was already nightfall, and Natsumi happened to be fast asleep curled up next to Gray.

Gray takes a nervous breath, he didn't want to rouse natsumi from her sleep.

He knew how she could be when awoken. So he lightly nudged her shoulder, she waved him away grumbling incoherently.

"Hey. We're back home" Gray whispered near the pinkette's ear.

Natsumi stirred as soon as gray said they were home she awoke, gazing out the train window to see that they were indeed back in Magnolia.

Natsumi excitedly gets off the train, stretching her arms over her head and letting out a yawn. "Finally! I'm going to visit Sting I bet he missed me" Natsumi says to herself, not knowing that Gray seethed angrily to himself at the mentioning of the other dragon Slayer.

Natsumi bolts down the sidewalk, towards the Sabertooth Guild, despite what happened between her guild and his natsumi remained friends with Sting and Rogue. 

Gray remained at the station, with a scoff he heads back to the guild. 

Instead of heading towards Sabertooth like she planned, Natsumi makes a U-turn and bolts towards her guild, in a attempt to make Gray feel better.

Natsumi crashes into gray, the two stumble back, gray scowled at the pinkette. "The hell was that for ?" He snapped, staring at natsumi who was busy rubbing her head.

" Shut it you exhibitionist! I was coming back to see you" She ranted, her eyes flickering to his face.

Gray stares at her warily, unsure about what she meant, he knew that she was oblivious but not dumb.

" Uhh..." He trails off, watching Natsumi head into the guild, he followed behind her wanting to get a proper response.

Natsumi stops, causing Gray to stop as well. "You heard me. I was going to see Sting but he's probably out with Yukino. Plus..." She rambled, fidgeting in place.

" Plus what ?" Gray stubbornly insisted, gesturing for her to continue.

" I... I won't say anything else, you figure it out" Natsumi says using a voice she used on Happy.

Gray refused to leave it at that, so he gently grabs her by her wrist guiding her back outside. "Tell me." He insisted, still having a hold on her wrist.

Natsumi wasn't good at expressing herself, so she fumbles over her words, while she explained how she felt gray intently listened to her, when she finished he had a smug look on his face.

" Yeah. You like me. As in a lot" He said, releasing his hold on her wrist only to pull her by her waist just to see her reaction.

" Shut up! How would you know?!" She huffed, trying to get away from him.

Gray just continues to smile, watching her expression turn from annoyed to flustered. "My point taken" He smugly said much to her annoyance.

Natsumi freed herself from his grasp, she pivots on her feet and back into the guild her face red with embarrassment.

Gray followed behind the angry dragon Slayer finding her embarrassment cute.

Still embarrassed and annoyed, natsumi takes a seat at and sitting at that table was Levy and Gajeel.

Levy takes notice of Natsumi's sour expression she raised her eyebrow in question silencing Gajeel's snickers with a elbow to his side.

" I sorta told Gray I like him..." Natsumi mutters poking her fingers together looking down at the table.

" Give me the details!" Levy demands, looking at natsumi hopefully.

Natsumi fiddled with her pink hair hoping none of the other guild members would eavesdrop on her conversation.
