I was walking with my new friend Topanga Lawrence who I met during class.
we walk past Shawn and Cory's table where I overhear them talking about superhero's.
"Hey Topanga"
"Yeah?"
she replies while setting down her tray
"What do you think about Shawn... and Cory of course"
Topanga notices the last minute addition of Cory and grins
"why do you wanna know about Shawn"
I try to not be obvious but failed of course
"You like him dont you"
she says while grinning hard
"I hardly know him!"
"That doesn't answer what I asked"
I hesitate and start to stammer for an answer
"I don't even know for sure! but what if he doesn't like me back"
she just keeps smiling and says
"Trust me ever since you got here all he's been doing was making googly eyes at you"
I start to think about from our previous interaction
and topanga says
"he totally likes you"
I glance behind me and find Shawn looking back but quickly looks away.

Shawn's pov
How is she so beautiful her hair, eyes, her-
"If you where to have any super hero as your dad who would it be"
Cory says pulling me from my inner thoughts
our other friend answers
"Batman no question living in a cool cave and balling the bat mobile"
I cut in
"He lets robin hangout with him and let's him play with all of his stuff and he's not his really kid he's his ward"
someone says
"how did he get to be a ward?"
Cory cuts in protesting how superman is superior.
My focus shifts from our conversation to Y/n seeing her laughing with Topanga.
Minkus suddenly I am seeing minkus talking to MY girl!
I had to think of something quick
"Look there's minkus"
I said pulling out my water gun 2000
aiming it at minkus head shoot some water shifting his attention bringing out his own water gun.
After a whole water gun show off and everyone spraying cory Mr. Feeny walks in discussing how the water fountain isn't a toy.
I look over to see y/n laughing
"Beautiful"
our friend infront of me says while backing his upperbody
"What'd u just say to me"
"Uhhh nothing"
