Faith's P.O.V.
Round and round like a horse on a carousel, we go,
will I catch up to love? I could never tell, I know,
chasing after you is like a fairy-tale, but I,
feel like I'm glued on tight to this carouselI stood on the fair grounds, my feet glued to the floor as I smelled the odors of different foods in the air.
Come, come one, come all,
you must be this tall
to ride this ride at the carnivalI stood in line for the carousel the one at the carnival was an old unsteady one, but that was the great thing about it.
Oh, come, take my hand
and run through play-land
so high, too high at the carnivalI saw Shadow in front of me he was on his phone and I was trying to peak over his sturdy shoulders to see who he was texting.
And it’s all fun and games,
'til somebody falls in love,
but you've already bought a ticket,
and there’s no turning back nowThen he caught me... ' Shit ...' Shadow stared at me and smiled. " Hey, I didn't know you were here at the fair!"
Round and round like a horse on a carousel, we go,
will I catch up to love? I could never tell, I know,
chasing after you is like a fairy-tale, but I,
feel like I'm glued on tight to this carousel" I-I uh-" I was cut off when we were next to buy tickets. " How many?" The guy asked.
" Two tickets, please." Shadow said pulling out his wallet and paid handing me one ticket.
The blush on my face was bright red and I smiled. " I-I, thank you, you didn't have to though."
He shrugged and grabbed me picking me up as I made a small ' eep ' sound as he placed me on a carousel horse and sat with me on it.
My heart raced badly, it was so intense.
This horse is too slow,
we’re always this close,
almost, almost, we’re a freakshowThe horse began to start and the music played, Shadow had his hands on my hips keeping me intact on the old wooden horse.
I gripped the sleeves of my soft black long sleeve shirt .
Why did you steal my cotton candy heart?
you threw it in this damn coin slot,
and now I’m stuck, I'm stuck,
riding, riding, ridingI closed my eyes and he chuckled, sensing how nervous I was.
Round and round like a horse on a carousel, we go,
will I catch up to love? I could never tell, I know,
chasing after you is like a fairy-tale, but I,
feel like I'm glued on tight to this carouselHe turned my figure with his hands and then.... his lips met mine as we sat on the carousel.
