Jet's P.O.V.
It was after the war, I had returned to a city of ruin, my family, my friends, dead. Death surrounding the city, not only was it bad, it was awful.

Sonic the hedgehog and Shadow were getting treatment, and little did Sonic know Tails died today...
All I had left was Rosemary, very beautiful and sweet, perfect in my eyes. She was very religious.
I know that she survived because she was on her knees in prayer, in one of the damaged houses.

"Rosemary?" I murmured walking towards the house. She lifted her head and smiled.
"The wars over Jet, you should be happy." I fell to my knees. "Rosemary, I lost my friends, my family, my life." I whispered sadly.
"How an I be happy?" I asked her looked at her, my eyes glazed with hurt. She came over to me and embraced me.
"Jet, they wouldn't want you to be sad. They're all in heaven now, watching over you, and I know for a fact they wouldn't want you to be sad. They want you to let them go so you can be happy."

I let tears slip. "Rosemary..." I held my side, blood leaking through my armor. I hadn't gotten treatment for my wounds, and they were staring to bleed through.
She frowned and tears glazed in her eyes. "Jet?" I started to loose consciousness. "Jet s-stay with me."
I smiled weakly and kissed her forehead, then her lips. "I love you, be happy." I said caressing her strands of hair.

I closed my eyes, but when I woke up I found myself in a hospital bed. Rosemary by my side holding my hand and praying.
"I love you to, Jet." She murmured, her tired eyes opening and closing.
"Sleep darling, sleep."
