FUCK. . . That's the first thing I thought when I woke up. I look around and I think I'm back at the base in the medical ward. I try to sit up but my chest was killing me. I sit up just enough to see my body, it's wrapped up and I think my whole body is purple. I lay my head back and try to rest, but that's kinda hard when every breath I take feels like I'm being stabbed.
Wraith: D. . . Doc. . . You th. . . there?
Fuck he must be out! I look around for something to make some noise or make a call. But the only thing. . . Or I guess person I find is Nokk, who's in another bed across the room from me, still sleeping. She didn't have that mail thing over her face and I think I was one of the few people to see her face. She had brown hair and she was kinda cute honestly, but I was more interested in finding doc. Not only was Nokk in the room but there was a wheelchair beside my bed and I used my foot to pull it over. I lifted myself out of the bed into the chair and I probably sounded like a real bitch when I did it. I started to wheel myself out of the room, but it was cut short when I ran into doc.
Wraith: Just the man I was looking for!
Doc: Y/n what are you doing get back in bed.
He turns me around and helps me back into the bed.
Doc: You got 3 cracked ribs you shouldn't be out and about.
Wraith: Sorry was wanting to ask you some questions.
Doc: Oui go ahead.
Wraith: How long will I be out for.
Doc: About a 1 to 2 months.
Wraith: Well shit. . . Ok well how's Nokk doing.
Doc looked a little surprised when I asked that.
Doc: Well she has 6 broken ribs so she will be in recovery for awhile. She was hit point blank so the damage was much greater then yours. And for you, you were hit from 15 meters away and because of your build the damage was less.
Wraith: Thanks Doc. . . Say could I maybe get something for the pain?
Doc: Sure, just give me a moment.
Wraith: Say Doc, why are you being nice to me, I thought you would be like the rest of the ops and hate me.
Doc: Well Eliza(Ash), Monika(IQ) and Seamus(Sledge) told everyone what you did and how you could of killed them but you chose us. So the opinion of you may of been changed with some people. And speaking of which Eliza wanted to talk to you.
Wraith: About?
Doc: Not sure, but I can go get her if you like.
Wraith: Yeah that would be nice, thanks.
Doc: Not a problem.
He walks over to one of the cabinets and gets out a bottle of pills, he takes out a couple pills and gets a glass and fills it with some water from the sink. He walks it over to me and I take them.
Wraith: Thanks again.
Doc: Just doing my job. . . I'll be back in a minute.
He starts walking out the door and I lay back in bed. He comes back in about 5 minutes with some people at his side. Those people were Ash, IQ, Sledge, Ela, Zofia, Jager and Thatcher. They walk in and see that I'm the only one awake. They all gather around my bed and I start to get a little defensive.
Ash: Look who's up.
Wraith: . . .
IQ: Y/n are you there?
