Chapter 31: Snapped

When I saw this I knew I had to write a chapter, it's not everyday that you hit 10k views after all. Also not to bum you guys out but after this part theres 19 chapters left to write, this book is so much fun to write and I know it will be sad when it's over. . . But I'll be writing an all new book after this one, so please leave your ideas in the comments on what you might think is a good idea for the next book. I was sitting in the waiting room of the hospital with Ela, she was wrapped around my arm and had been crying. I didn't cry, I didn't feel sad at all. All I felt was emptiness, like a void of black that swallowed the small bit of joy in my life. It all turned to anger. . .

Y/n. . .

My blood started to boil and I clenched my teeth. . .

I imagined all the things I would do to the masks once I got my hands on them, it was their damn fault and I'm gonna make them fucking pay!

Ela: Y/n!

I snapped out of it, Ela was prying my hand off of hers. Her hand was red and sore with the skin scratched to the point it was almost bleeding, she pull her arms away and I turned to her.

Wraith: Ela I'm sorry, I. . . I didn't mean too.

Ela: Just keep your damn hands to yourself.

I wanted to say more, but it was probably best if I didn't

???: Mr. L/n?

I look up to an older doctor, I got up and said anxiously.

Wraith: How is she?

Doctor: I'm sorry to inform you but I'm afraid she has lost the baby, she had to have surgery and shes now recovering.

Wraith: How did this happen, why did it happen!

Doctor: With your line of work I can assume the stress had gotten to her, it ended up with her getting a negative reaction causing her to miscarry. You can come see her if you like.

I nod to the doctor trying to keep calm, we followed him to Eliza's room. He opened the door and let us inside, Eliza was on her side facing the wall with her legs curled up.

Doctor: I'll give you some privacy.

He gently closed the door, we both walked up to Eliza. Ela went around to the other side of her and stroked her hair, I could hear Eliza start to sob.

Ela: I'm sorry my kochanek, I'm sorry this happened to you.

Ela pulled Eliza into a hug, she gently made her way into the bed letting Eliza rest her head on Ela's chest. Ela held her as she cried, letting all the built up emotion out. I could only watch as it left me stunned, I was never good at comforting anyone, and it felt like there was nothing I could do.

Ela: Just let it out, it's ok.

I tightened my fists till the knuckles cracked, I turned around and left the room closing the door. I walked outside the hospital, I took out my phone and dialed his number.
