     "Me too." The words rang in Richie's head like a bell, as a soft smile crept onto his face. But Richie had no time to lose. Eddie was losing blood, and it was a lot of it.

     Richard composed himself with ease and in a quick movement, he got up, with Eddie in his arms. He ran. His feet ached with every step, but that didn't bother him. The losers were shocked. He really just broke down like that. They weren't sure on what to do. Richie was long gone of their sight. But they knew exactly where he was headed.

     Richie ran through the streets alerting the residents to get out of his way. Cars honked and bikes swerved, as expletives were darted at him. But those were the least of his problems.

     Eddie on the other hand was fighting to stay awake. He feared that if he rested his eyes, that would be the last he would be heard of. He could barely make out any thing of what he saw or heard. Everything seemed to go either too slow or too fast. Although he was lifted up and safe in Richie's arm, he felt gravity pulling him downwards. His breathing was rapid, and his wound burned and stung bitterly. He coughed up a bit of blood too. Eddie had so much to worry about; his wound being possibly infection, his extended stay, his medical cost, his wife? But his head was far too clouded to think. He was at peace not being able to worry, but he couldn't let this peace consume him.

     Edward grew weary. He felt exhausted, too exhausted to feel his aching wound. "C'mon stay with me eds". He heard. Richie's voice sounded distant and faded, but it was calming. His eyes grew heavy. And soon enough, a state of peace loomed over him.

(I know this was short but I just wanted to focus on eddie for a bit.)
(Realistically speaking, you would call up an ambulance in this scenario, but I just wanted it to be dramatic)
