“Daichi! Nice receive!” Tanaka called as the captain lept for the ball that raced towards the other side of the gym. Quickly rushing out of his position, the brunette grunted in agreement, hurriedly trotting off to the side of the court and diving down to the floor, completing the dive drills necessary until his next turn.

Up next to receive was Karasuno's powerhouse libero with his infamous cocky grin he had plastered almost always, across his cheeky little face. Tanaka had gone off to the receiving line, therefore Kageyama was up to serve. Tossing the ball up into the air, the first year ran forward, orbs locked onto the prize. He leaped up, knees bent and arms positioned beautifully. In a flash of speed, came smack down the ball.

Swiftly, the small player dove towards the ball as its end came nearer to the gymnasium floor. He rolled, punting the ball up into the air, though the volleyball seemed to have been hit oddly. It flung towards the side of the court and almost hit Sugawara in the head.

Kageyama looked towards where the ball was close to hitting, and waved at Suga,

“You alright?” the male asked, his tone mundane as ever.

“Y-Yeah.. I'm fine, but Nishinoya.. -”

Suga never turned to look at Kageyama, the expression that lingered on his face, seemed as if he had seen a ghost.

“Hm?” Kageyama noticed Suga's odd response, his head turning to look over at the small male who was still laid on the floor.

“ccng..!” the boy gritted his teeth, slamming his fist against the floor.

“D-Dammit..” he tried to yell, though his voice just barely allowed him to break a loud whisper. His whole body was trembling and he was coated in sweat. Moments after, Nishinoya's cat like hues rolled to the back of his skull before his small cranium, dropped to the floor.

NISHINOYA!

The whole team screamed their libero's name, sprinting to his aid. Tanaka was the first to get to him, tears streaming down his face.

N-NOYA-SAN! DON'T DIE ON ME, PLEASE!” the second year yelled, only to have his face shoved away by Sugawara.

“Nishinoya!” he called, lifting the younger brute up, and turning him to place him in his lap. The grey haired male held the cunning masculine in his arms, his brows creased in concern.

“Nishinoya.. uh-” Suga's orbs suddenly widened, his gaze slowly meeting Daichi's.

“Everyone get out.”

“What, Suga-” Hinata began, before getting cut off.

GET OUT! NOW, EVERYONE. GET OUT OF THE GYM!

Daichi understood what was happening, and quickly rushed everyone towards the door. Hinata and most of the first years all seemed confused, but not Tsukki. Tsukki knew exactly what was going on.

NOYAAAAAAAAA!!!” Tanaka gurgled through his river of tears and saliva, as Tsukki dragged him out of the gymnasium doors.

Asahi jogged alongside Daichi, his gaze upon the captain, soon trailing behind them.

“Daichi.. Nishi-”

“Asahi, come on, don't look back. Let's go.” Daichi called, patting the ace on the shoulder before getting outside. Asahi sighed and followed, his eyes trailing to his white volleyball sneakers.

“A-Ac.. ccrr... nnm!” Nishinoya trembled in Sugawara's lap, clinging onto Suga as if he was being pried away into an abyss of nothing. Sugawara just stroked the undercut of Noya's hair, massaging his neck.

“Shhh...” he whispered, trying to remain calm himself,

“You're ok, Noya, you're ok..” he says softly, his tone was a gentle as a mother's who sang her dear child to sleep.

“A-Ah..!” Nishinoya's mouth hung open, sweat soaking his orange uniform (the team decided to practice in their attire so they could feel more like they were working on skills in an actual game that evening.)

The sweat began to seep into the setter's own uniform, but he just smiled softly, continuing to stroke Nishinoya's head.

Suddenly, Suga lifted his head to see the coach approach them, he smiled softly,

“Ukai-san!” he said, relieved.

“Suga.. what happened to Nish-”

“He's having his...”
