He placed my hand on his chest. "Can you feel that?" He asked me while his eyes searched mine. I nodded wanting to pull my hand away, but he held it firmly to him.
"That's how much I love you..."
His heart was pounding against his chest so fast it felt like it was going to break out. Where mine just thrummed to a slow steady beat. I didn't love him... I frowned deeply my thoughts wandering to the day before. He had tried to leave this world, and his family behind. The reasoning was unclear, and every feeling every little molecule of love washed from my body.
He had only been home for a week, and in that time he had an episode which sent him stumbling down the stairs, and crashing him into the china cabinet. All of his Mother's china destroyed. Not entirely his fault, however he was devastated. It was like a tumbler effect. The inner walls of his mind were falling down. The creature had seen to that. He was no longer lucid enough for interaction with the kids. Calliope had run up to him when he got home. But, the poor girl stopped dead in her tracks when she saw his face. Perseus was almost the same reaction. Except he yelled at him to get out.
He wasn't the same... late into the night he would sit and stare with empty eyes out the window. Amber would tuck a blanket around him and brush a light kiss on his forehead. He would no longer give a reaction, and slowly the love she once felt trickled away.
"Amber...." His voice was hoarse, but she heard him. She looked up into his vacant eyes a sadness creeping through her veins.
"Yea Joonie..." his mouth twitched when she spoke.
"Kill me..." his voice was emotionless, his eyes screamed save me when before they were empty dark orbs. His lips parted slightly his eyes slowly looking into hers. There was the Joonie she knew. It had been weeks since, and she was torn. The way he had been had made her forget about all the times before, and now. Now he was back but what he asked left a bitter taste in her mouth.
"Joonie...I..I can't.. I.." her voice cracked under emotion of it all. Tears welled up in her eyes, a hand touching her face wiped them away. She turned her cheek into it, her eyes closing.
"Please ...I don't have the energy to keep fighting him...."
Amber opened her eyes confused. Who was he talking about?
"Joonie who are you talking about?"
Slowly his hand came up and pointed to the dark doorway behind her. She turned to look, there was nothing there. But, when she looked back at Namjoon he looked scared to death.
"Joonie baby what do you see?" She asked worry rushing through her making her heart beat faster with every second he didn't answer.
"Joonie...Joonie!!! Oh God PLEASE!!!" She cried out as she shook his shoulders. He was gone again. His face went slack, and then the light in his eyes went out. She fell to the floor. Her head resting on his knees.
"Amber?" A tiny voice called to her. Calliope walked slowly up to her holding one of her baby dolls. She had tears in her eyes, and her cheeks were red. Amber wiped her eyes quickly then brought the little girl into a hug. "What's wrong sweet girl?"
She too pointed to the doorway, which made ice cold fear run through Amber's entire body. Looking up at Namjoon her brain worked hard to find a way to save him.

MONDAY 3:16 AMIt's so dark here... the woods are damp from a storm that blew through days before. The small squish of the mud under my feet made everything feel so real. I coughed hard, thick black ikor splattering onto the back of my hand. The creatures was slowly taking over me. It's becoming so hard to fight back. I can barely see the light anymore. Each time it was farther away. Each time a different obstacle stood in the way... Every time I had to make a choice. Lately, I kept choosing the wrong one. Which caused the creature to rip apart my body, and I would wake up after the excruciating pain in a different room. The same dripping noise, and the steady screams of all those lost.
"Heh...heh... heh... Namjoon ...where are you..." it whispered in his ear. Or at least that's how it felt. He was always near, but as long as Namjoon stayed focused he could keep him away.
"The bitch doesn't want you... " it hissed. I tried to drown him out. His voice getting louder the more the hopelessness set in.
No....
Crunch... crunch...crunch.. it sounded like the creature was gnawing on bones. He must of caught someone else.
I can see her face before me. That angelic face that I adored so much. I'm almost there. Just let me... I reached for her face. Caressing her cheek to wipe the tears that fell away. I can't remember what I had said. But, it looks as though I upset her..
"Joonie who are you talking about?" She asked me confused. I looked behind her. I wish I hadn't. He was there staring at Calliope, his teeth forming into a sickening smile. I can't stay here.. I started back away in my mind, and as I did he slowly dissipated before he could touch the little girl I loved so much. Not my Callie-bug.
"Aw...but she is so sweet looking..." it whispered a hungry tone.
No...
"We shall see..."
It pounced on me after that. Slamming me hard into the damp ground. The mud smeared all over my face, my blood pooling beside me.. he tore at my flesh relentlessly until I laid motionless.
"Have I broke your spirit yet?" He asked playfully. I didn't answer, so he pounded my head into the ground. "Well..." he seethed.
I spat blood onto the leaves, and glared up at him. "Nah...."
He gave a guttural growl, then ran off into the darkness.
"I'll be back..." he hissed.
I'll be around... not like I can move right now anyway. My eyes were getting heavy, the darkness crept in and I was out. Which means when I came to again. I would be somewhere else.
