chapter ten: screw you dad.

word soon spread around the hotel of Charlie and Alastor. Angel wasn't sure at first if they where just rumors or if it was true, he was however, certain it was true when he saw the two's finger interlaced. 

For a few weeks everything was perfect for Charlie. She had the perfect demon by her side, and the hotel was booming. 

that was until the devil came knocking at her door. Literally.

She was talking to husk at the bar about having more drinks at the bar when Angel dust came in out of breath. "um did one of your ask for an order of satan?" Angel asked. "no...why?" Charlie asked. "BECAUSE HES AT THE DAMN DOOR THAT'S WHY!" angel shouted. Charlie and husk at the same time SCREAMED "WHAT?!" Charlie rushed into the front room, and Satan was standing there. 

Charlie was just frozen in fear, then Satan noticed her standing there. "Charlie sweetheart..." "DON'T YOU DARE! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE SATAN?!" Charlies father winced at how his daughter  didn't call him 'dad' anymore. "CHARLIE please..." "hello Satan." everyone looked at the top of the grand staircase to see an angry and smiling alastor. "alastor! my friend! please try and talk some sense into my naïve daughter!" everyone in the room gasped, and then realized that he must've not known about the couple. Charlie looked down at her feet trying not to cry.

"your 'naïve' daughter Satan is my lover. now please. Leave." Satan gasped, then growled low. "you bitch! nobody is fit for my daughter!" Satan gave a wave of his hand and alastor flew across the room. he slammed into the wall, crashing into the picture of vaggie that rested on the wall. 

"ALASTOR!" Charlie screamed and ran to his side. Alastor put his hand to his mouth and coughed, and when he put his hand down, he had blood on it. Alastors smile only grew. "Mimzy...get. Charlie. Out of here." Alastor commanded. "WHAT?! NO! NOT WITHOUT YOU!" Charlie hugged his arm. Alastor kissed Charlie's forehead. "don't worry my darling. I'm going to be fine." 

Mimzy took Charlies arm and lead her to behind the front desk, where she put up an energy shield to protect Charlie from the upcoming chaos.

After getting a nod from mimzy, Alastor stood and laughed. "here you are, calling me a bitch, when your the one who killed your daughters girlfriend" Alastors slammed his staff into the ground, and his shadow became its own, physical, form. He lifted his staff and pointed it at Satan, going into his demon form. 

Satan only laughed evilly and gave a snap of his fingers and a tornado of fire surrounded alastor. Charlie screamed and banged her fists against the shield, but to no avail. when the tornado stopped, alastor still stood, but he was VERY different. Instead of a gray skinned Deer antlered demon, stood a mixed, human. everyone gasped, and mimizy did a double take. 

standing there, instead of Alastor the radio demon, was Ace Povergine. he looked at his arm dumbfounded. he had not been human in over 90 years! Satan bowed to everyone in the room and left. 

Mimzy lowered the shield and charlie rushed over to Ace. "alastor?! alastor!" she shook his shoulder and he turned around. "ch-Charlie I...I had hoped for you to never see me like this...I never thought..." he than fainted on the spot, but as he was falling, Charlie caught him. 

oh ace...hes going to pay for this...I promise. Ace started to wake up, and found himself in Charlies arms. "Charlie? what the hell happened?" Charlie sighed and rubbed her thumb and against his cheek. Ace grabbed Charlies hand kissed her palm. "I'll just be weaker while I'm a human. I just can't go outside, or ill incinerate. Alastor tried to stand but couldn't. "alastor!!" Charlie screamed. "what the devil am I going to do..." ace said. "as long as my enemies know im weak, AND human, im dead! again! Charlie dearest please take me to our room." Charlie followed his requests and started carrying him up the to his room.

in Charlie and Alastors room 

After getting her lover situated, Charlie started pacing the room while cursing her father. '"OH YEAH THATS A GOOD WAY TO EARN MY LOVE BACK, MAKING MY BOYFRIEND BACK INTO HIS HUMAN SELF!" Charlie was now staining the carpet with black footprints. "darling its ok! It'll wear off after a few weeks! I've done research on this spell, it lasts three weeks at the most." Alastor explained. He reached up to touch his hair. "I have to admit though, its weird not having my antlers and powers." he said, and looked over at Charlie, who was still stressed, and now was nibbling at her nails. Alastor smirked and as she was passing by, he grabbed her arm and pulled her onto the bed.

"Ace?" Charlie asked him. He pulled her closer, and hugged her. "ill be fine, we just have to make sure nobody finds out." He nuzzled her cheek and kissed her nose. Charlie giggled and pecked his lips, which felt different than what she was used to. "I told you my dearest, either in life or death, I'll always love you."
