Chapter 40: truth or dare

Alastor sat at a bar drinking away with his friends. Moxxie was there to keep him in check, he recalled the conversation with Charlie.

"Bye honey!" Charlie called to alastor. Alastor blew her a kiss and left the castle "hey moxxie, can I ask you something?" Charlie asked. Moxxie nodded. "Keep an eye on him for me. I've only seen him drunk once, and I want to make sure he's ok." Charlie told him.

Moxxie crossed his heart and swore he would.

Alastor slammed a shot and whooped. Husk had never seen him like this! The most was when he was still getting over vaggie, and Charlie was there at the time!

TIME SKIP! (By like 6 hours)

Moxxie arrived back at the castle at around 12:00 AM. He was helping alastor sneak in, hopefully Charlie didn't get to mad at alastor, he already knew Millie was going to kill him.

He opened the castle doors quietly, and it was pitch black, so he assumed everyone was in bed. He helped alastor up the stairs when a fire flickered in the fire place in between the two massive staircases.

Charlie was standing there.PISSED. She thanked moxxie and told him she had spoken to Millie, so he wouldn't be murdered. Alastor looked over and saw Charlie in her queen outfit, a black sleeveless dress with gloves. (VERY similar to Liliths.)

Alastor could feel his pants tightening, and Charlie shot daggers at him. She now knew how Vaggie felt when angle got into the turf war and they had an argument in the limo.

Moxxie took the looks as a cue to leave, and booked it. As soon as the castle doors shut, Charlie grabbed alastor's hand and dragged him to there room, so she wouldn't be heard by the kids.

"WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING?! DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IVE BEEN WORRIED?! HOW LONG IVE BEEN WAITING?! TELL ME ALASTOR DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO MANAGE THREE TODDLERS FOR A NIGHT BY YOURSELF?!" Charlie yelled. Alastor gave her a sad look. Even in his drunken state, he knew she was upset. He opened his mouth to say something, but was interrupted by Charlie. "NO! NO ALASTOR I DON'T WANT TO FUCKING HEAR IT YOU UNDERSTAND ME?! I-"

"Mommy? Daddy?" Charlie and alastor looked over and saw Adrien standing there in his Pjs with a horrified look on his face. "Why are you yelling? Did we do sometwin?" Adrien asked with tears in his eyes (OOOFFF WRITING THIS IS BRINGING BACK MEMORIES.)

Alastor went over to Adrien and scooped him up. "C'mere son. Let daddy tell you something. Mommy has every right to be yelling at me, daddy messed up really bad..." alastor said this while looking at Charlie. "And he promises mommy that he won't do it again." Alastor said. Adrien smiled and hugged his dad. He put Adrien down and he hugged Charlie and Charlie reached down and hugged her son and sent him on his way.

Charlie sighed. "Ok al, this...I..." she stammered out. Alastor went over to her and took the gloves off her hands and he rubbed the back of her palms with his thumbs. "I know I messed up Charlie. And I when I married you I promised i would always be by your side, and do my best to make you happy. But here I was tonight, getting my ass drunk, and not helping you. I can't reverse my actions my dear, but I hope you can forgive me." Alastor said with a huge frown.

Charlie smiled at him and hugged her husband. "Oh al..." she said. Alastor hugged her back, the smile returning. He smirked and surprised her and swept her off her feet and Carried her bridal style into there bedroom. He set her down on the bed, but poor alastor was so tired he couldn't even get the damn dress off! Eventually the drinks made there comeback on alastor's body, and he fell on top of Charlie, who didn't mind the position and fell asleep after rolling alastor to her left.
