Chapter 2: Warming up slowly

(Y/N) slowly woke up, hearing a kiss on her head. Her eyes opened lazily, feeling as though the world wanted her to awaken but her body pulled her back into blissful unconsciousness. But once she saw the familiar red sating sheets surrounding her and the sigh of the spider demon by her bed side, her body quickly bolted up from the warm nest of sheets.
"Hey hey easy there sweetness. Everything's alright. Im only waking you up for breakfast."

She breathed a bit heavily, but soon relaxed. She could see the tray of food slowly placed in front of her by angel.
"you were asleep for quite a while but im sure some food will wake you right up."

The woman looked to the food. It looked amazing. Pancakes covered in maple syrup, sweet strawberries on the side along with a cup of earl grey tea. She was in disbelief. Never has she seen a meal this grand in hell before. At first, she was holding herself back but her stomach loudly growled, filling the silence in the room. In response, Angel smiled softly.
"Don't hold yourself back. You need to eat. Even in hell."
(Y/N) blushed a bit in embarrassment and finally cut herself a piece of the pancake and ate it softly.
"It tastes sweet."
Angel smiled. "Im sure just like you."

the woman blushed and coughed a bit. "I-I know my hair is cotton candy coloured but trust me I'm anything but sweet." she said, trying to make herself look like someone not be messed with.
"ooh really?"
"Y-yeah.."
"well I do like some spice too."

she blushed and quickly kept eating to try and ignore him. He chuckled softly and sighed.
"Sorry for that. I'm sure you must get that a lot."
"i-Ish fine" he said, chewing still, blushing.

She knew she shouldn't be embarrassed by all his comments, and yet his words had a way to get to her.

She looking around the room fully. She could see close to the foot of the bed, a lit up heart shape vanity reminding her of cartoon like vanities of beautiful celebrity characters. She could see her reflexion, looking still shaky from the events of before. The bandages around her body, had a few stains of blood piercing through the soft white of the fabric.

"Seems like we'll have to change those bandages." he said coming closer to her.
the young woman looked to him, a bit confused. "Y-you don't have to."
"Yeah I know but i want to. I'll get the first aid kit. Take your time and finish eating ok?" he said petting her head before leaving.

She was incredibly confused. This demon can't be serious she thought. At any moment, he could attack her or pull a nasty trick on her like many others did before. And yet oddly enough she was taken care of and even fed. For a man who was known all over hell as a star who had a "rude behaviour", he seemed rather kind to her of all people. Even flirty... she shook her head and quickly continued eating. She had enough thinking about it.



After finishing her meal, the door bursted open and in came a blond demoness who looked stressed out of her mind.
"My goodness. You poor thing. Dont worry im here to help!" she turned to the spider demon who followed slowly behind her. "why didnt you guys tell me she was injured?"
"Look you were asleep and I'm pretty sure vaggie didnt want to make you more anxious."

"But shes still a guest and I will help." the young woman replied as she began changing the bandages.

(Y/N) was quickly removed from her old bandages and her wounds were properly wrapped up in new bandages. She relaxed softly, feeling a bit better.
"Not too tight? My name is Charlie. I'm in charge of the now titled hazbin hotel."
"Hazbin hotel?" (Y/N) asked cautiously
"Its a hotel to rehabilitate sinners."

She looked to her surroundings and how she was treated in hell. Could this be her ticket way out? She could rehabilitate and finally live a life out of here.

"May I....stay here?"

"Of course you may!" Charlie said happily "ill go get your keys." Angel quickly stopped charlie

"Hey wait a minute... " he whispered in her ear. "can she...have a room next to mine?"

At first the young woman looked to him confused but she soon put the pieces together. She smiled and softly nodded.
