Chapter 2 - A New Friend?

-At School-

I guess I'm pretty lucky! You think as you walk through the school gates,

You arrive just before the bell rang so you won't be marked late, this school is pretty strict though but it's such a bother to get up in the mornings when you could be spending your time doing something important, like sleeping.

Len and Rin are still walking with you and are basically hanging off of your arms now which is really quite annoying so you ask them to stop,

"Excuse me?!" Rin raises her voice, clearly offended, but she does unlatch herself from you,

"But ____, you're super snugly and if I don't hug someone I'll get hypothermia!" Len says with a pout,

"Well you have to go to your next class now anyway so you will have to deal with the struggle of hypothermia" you say as you remove the other twin from your arm and begin to walk away,

"Oh and _____? Look forward to music class today, they're having a big contest and they told us the prize is gonna be something cool, thay haven't told us what it is yet though," he say's just before you walk away,

"Ok, I'll look forward to it!" you say,

You try to conceal the big grin that's spreading on your face, you really missed them even though you don't like to admit it, and you're happy to see them again after the Summer and the few days you were trying to ignore them. Anyway, gotta get to my locker quick you think to yourself

-Going to Your Locker-

You walk to your locker to get your stuff for English when you bump into someone, making you drop all your books,

"I'm so sorry, are you ok?" you ask, still in a daze yourself,

"I'm fine, you're the one who fell," this girl says as she dusts herself off,

You look at her when you stand up and see that she has poofy turqouise pigtails that nearly reach her feet, she's wearing red headphones and you can hear the faint sound of music coming from them,

"Are you listening to music?" You ask immidiatly,

"Yup, one of Megurine Luka's new songs," she says happily,

"Oh I love her! Her voice is so mature and sweet, one of the best singers in my opinion, oh, where's my manners, What's your name?" you ask,

"My name is Miku, Hatsune Miku! What's yours?" Says the girl,

"Oh right, I'm _____, _____ _____. Nice to meet you Miku!" You say to her,

"Same to you ______, sorry to bother you, I'm new, do you know where class A1 is?" she asks,

"Oh, that's my class! Just follow me," you reply,

"I guess we're classmates then!" she says as you're walking to class,

"Yup, I guess we are! Oh do you know anyone else at this school?" you ask,

"Well, it's only 1 other guy," she pauses for a second contemplatively,

"Kaito I think he said, Kaito Shion? We bumped into each other as I was walking here, he was very friendly actually!" She says with a smile on her face,

"Oh I've heard of him, we aren't friends but he does seem nice," you trail off,

"Ok then we're here... Oh and could I please sit next to you ___? I wouldn't want to sit on my own" She says,

"Sure!" you you don't anyone sitting next to you so that would be fine,

"Oh, what option classes are you in? I'm in Art, Science and Music," she says,

"Oh cool, I'm in Music and Science too! Not Art though," you say cheerfully,

"Well this should be a fun year then!" she says happily.

-Afterwards in Music Class-

"Ok pupils, we have a very exiting announcement about the competion to tell you about...

Author's Note- Ok so I know there's probably lots of things wrong with this chapter, like the fact there wan't much on the romance side of things but I thought that I'd let you have Miku as a friend so you aren't too much of a loner ^__^ I will try my best to make this next chapter fast because I have a good idea for an adventure for them to have, which is what the contest is about.
