To kill every werewolf who wanted to kill me.

"AAAAHHHH!"

A bloody screamed of Alpha David echoed in the room and as soon as his gripped on my hands loosened, I put all my strength to my knees and kick him on his stomach. I quickly got up and that's were I saw someone behind Alpha David.

"B-Beta Fred?"

I never thought Beta Fred would help me. Alpha David was still on the floor, blood is all over the floor and that's were I saw a silver knife buried on his back.

"W-why?" I asked, "Why did you help me?"

Beta Fred looked at me, "I'm sorry if I was too late to save you." he said.

I frowned, not knowing what did he mean.

"What?" I asked again, "Wha...."

A big howl that came from Alpha David interrupted our conversation. We quickly step back as he rises from the floor. I should have known silver knife cannot easily affect an Alpha.

Beta Fred put his one arm in front of me to protect me from Alpha David. Why? I really need answers right now from Beta Fred. He's not like this. He's a Beta that should protect his Alpha. He should be in front of Alpha David, protecting him and not me!

"I never knew you would become like this Fred." Alpha David said.

"That's Beta Fred to you, David." Beta Fred said.

"Hah! To think you would be the traitor of our pack. I should have killed you together with your family!"

"And that's a big mistake that you ever made. You killed innocent werewolves just because of your ambitions."

"I killed werewolves who is nothing and useless just like the girl that you're protecting!"

Alpha David look at me and smiled, "You will never escape this woods, Lilac."

"You can't kill her David. You should know that." Beta Fred interrupted, "You know she is not a nothing."

What did he mean?

The smile that Alpha David wore has totally gone and it was replaced by fury. His eyes became golden and viens were showing, a sign that he will shift.

"I will kill you!!" He screamed.

Beta Fred grabbed my hand, "Run Lilac!" he said and run fast.

Despite the injuries in my face and the pain that I felt on my knees, I run fast knowing without a minute Alpha David would surely come to us.

"The knife that I use when I stabbed him..." Beta Fred said as we run, "... has a special poison. "

"What kind of poison?" I asked.

"A poison that could delay a werewolf shift in five minutes."

As we run in the woods, howls echoed in every places. There is one thing that we know, the pack soldiers is coming. They must have known what happened to Alpha David and now, they are chasing us.
