Chapter 29

Lee Hye Jin's P.O.V.

It was already night and Ho Seok said he wanted to burry Lady Jung. So we helped him. We burried her a little far away from the village because that's what Lady Jung wanted said Ho Seok.

There were just the three of us...

Ho Seok, Nam Joon and me.

Nam Joon and I were just silent... We're still shocked at what happened... While Ho Seok was still screaming....

He was crying loudly so I went to him to comfort him... I gave him a hug... I know it's painful that you lost your loved one.... I lost my mother and father too.... Lady Jung was like my second mother that I cherished.

I can't say something to Ho Seok because I know everything will not be alright. My lips are already bleeding because of the dryness. My throat is also dry and I feel numb.

I felt tears on my cheeks and noticed that I'm already crying. My knee fell on the ground. I can't forget Lady Jung's smile after she died. Our happy moments keep on flashing when I remember her smile. My clothes are still covered with dry blood.

Then I felt strong arms who lifted me up and let me hug him.... I looked who it was it was...

Jung Kook...

I saw him soflty smiled at me that made me cry more. I hugged him too... I let myself cry on Jung Kook's chest..

As it was almost midnight... Ho Seok said we can go back. He will just stay here because he wanted an alone time. Maybe it's good for him to think and to be alone for now...

When we were a little far away.

"Jung Kook... Where is Seok Jin?" I asked. My throat is still dry so my voice is really soft.

"He's.... in the forest too.... Waiting for us..." He said.

"Alright.... I'll talk to him.... I have something to say to him..... " I said.

"What are you going to say?" Jung Kook said.

I came close to him and whispered.
"Nam Joon knows who I am..." I said.

I looked at him and he was shocked..

"Jung... Kook?" I asked worriedly...

Then he shook he's head and just nod.

"He's a friend... I don't think there's bad when I accept him, right?" I said.

He nodded. Nam Joon was a little further away from us so he didn't heard what we are talking about.

"Ah... yeah.. Hye Jin I really want to apologize for what happened last time..." Jung Kook said. Not looking at me.

Oh yeah.... That night..

"Is it.. true?" I asked. I know he knows that I am talking about his feelings..

I looked at him.. And waiting for his answer.
He nodded.
"Yes... But... Let's not concentrate about it.. There are many things for you to know too.." He said seriously.

I was kinda relief.. At least he's honest... But why did I felt bad when he said that we can't concentrate at it....

When we are near the village... I saw Seok Jin...

I went to him and hugged him tightly... Then he looked at Nam Joon..

"I'm really sorry at what happened to Lady Jung.." Seok Jin said.
