"Daddy! He pinky promised he'd come back before my ninth birthday. And guess what? My birthday is tomorrow! Daddy kept his promise," Wonpil was smiling and jumping around. It was adorable.

"He did keep his promise baby, I'll be right back," Beam said and went to get Wonpil's bag from the car.

While Beam did that, a nurse came out and told Pha and Ming that they could go see Forth now. So, Pha got up and went to go see Forth while Ming waited for Beam.

"Where'd Pha go?" Beam asked when he came back in and handed Wonpil his bag.

"To see Forth, you can go back there too, I'll stay with him, Forth's in 186." Ming said and looked over at Wonpil - and then laughed and something funny the eight year old did.

"Ok, I'll be back in a minute," Beam said and hugged Wonpil before leaving.

Beam walked down to Forth's room and opened the door - he was mentally prepared to see ANYTHING since Pha and Forth are dating. Beam knocked and then walked in. Forth was a little confused and Pha was explaining what had happened.
Then he looked over at Beam.
He was a bit confused until a little boy came in and Ming was running behind him.

"He forgot to give you a hug. Damn he runs fast Beam," Ming said and smiled over at Forth.

"Wonpil?" Forth asked just confused over EVERYTHING.
That concussion fucked him up a bit.

"Daddy!" Wonpil smiled and hugged Forth's arm when Pha moved aside.

Forth smiled and tried to hug Wonpil back the best he could - it's hard when you can't move your lower body. Pha picked up the boy and set him next to Forth. Wonpil just smiled and finally hugged his dad. Forth just smiled and hugged his son tightly.
Pha went over at sat beside Ming on the small couch while ForthBeam+Wonpil talked.

"They're cute," Pha mumbled, watching the small family being cute.

"They are," Ming agreed and looked over at Pha to see his reactions.

Pha looked... Happy, but sad, pissed off, but overall happy.
Ming felt the same way.
Neither of them knew what was going on between ForthBeam. But both boys could tell when they weren't needed.

"Wanna get some dinner?" Ming asked as they got up and left Forth's room.

"Sure," Pha nodded and they walked down to where Park was still sitting.

"Park, you wanna come get some dinner with us?" Ming asked while Pha was talking to Kit a couple feet away.

"No, thanks though," Park was a mess. None of the others had noticed it. But Park's been crying the whole time since he got here.

Pha noticed and sat beside Park and hugged him.

"What's up?" Pha asked.

"My.. husband... Is the one that hit Forth... And they don't know if he'll make it through his surgery.. I'm scared..." Park was now crying on Pha's shoulder. He was a mess.

Pha hugged him tightly and told him everything would be ok - Ming asked Kit to check on him.

"What's his name?" Ming asked when Park started to calm down.

"Lam," Park mumbled still crying a bit.

Kit nodded and went to go see what was happening...

"So they've been dating since high school? But Beam is dating you and Forth's dating me at the same time?" Pha asked trying to clarify what Ming was telling him.

"Yeah, ForthBeam dated throughout high school when Beam and I weren't dating, we were off and on a lot. And i guess during one of our longer breaks they had a baby," Ming said and took a minute to eat some of his dinner.

"Wonpil?" Pha asked. Ming nodded with his mouth full of rice.

"He's almost nine, Forth hasn't seen him in three years." Ming said.

"The three years he's spent with me," Pha added.

"Exactly. Beam never told me about him either - I found out today too. Park told me all of this," Ming said and kept eating.

"Is it weird that I'm not hurt about it? I'm basically Forth's side-man. Sure he may have liked me at first, but with Beam sliding his way in - I'm just thrown to the side." Pha said. Ming knew exactly what he meant. He felt the same way.

"I'm used to being Beam's second option. I don't like it, but I can't just leave him either." Ming said.

"You could, I've got space at my place," Pha said.

"But your brother's in Beam's old-room." Ming was confused.

"I have a huge as bed in my room - we can share, unless you'd rather stay at your place and watch ForthBeam happen for the billionth time." Pha said.

He's very sassy when he's hurt rather than sad. Ming likes that about him.

"Sure, let's go by my place on the way to yours, I should grab my stuff." Ming said and Pha nodded.

This could be the start of something.

THE BEST SLEEP-OVER/FRIENDSHIP IN THE WORLD!!!!

Pha and Ming have NO romantic feelings for each other...

Or do they?
