awyer rolls his eyes. It's our cousin's engagement party tonight. Nothing too big, nothing too small, just family, close relatives and friends.
Tables have been placed outside in the yard. Faith set up a big dance arrangement with sound boxes and nice silver decorations. "This is gonna be dope." She said when she was checked the settings in the evening. "I want to have some fun before I leave." "What's fun without some.. you know?", I said laughing. "Don't worry, there'll be a liquor bar as well.", She assured.

"Aesthetic!", I comment when I go outside and see the beautifully decorated yard. The boys are standing together, taking pictures. All of us are dressed in brown blazer and new jeans. "Hey, What about me?" I join in and stick out my middle finger behind Sawyer's head.
The girls came out together in their sparkly white dresses. Faith, Kaitlyn, Ayesha, Langie.. Langie definitely looks bomb tonight.

Wow! that tiny white dress wrapped around her body, is making her look hella hot. Shawty looks a few inches taller too in those heels. Looking like a full course meal.. Oh no. what am I thinking? She's my best friend. I feel my cheeks turning hot as a pull back my gaze from her body.
"Adym" Langie slaps me on my right arm. "No no no. I wasn't.. " "What? Why didn't you pick up my calls? I called you so many times.", she says. I check my phone. Yes. 5 missed calls from Langie. "Chill. My phone was in silent mode. What happened though?" "I can't find Pablo anywhere. Do you know where he is?"
"He's in the guys' room. He'll be okay. I fed him like 2 hours ago.", I assure her.
I had to keep my little dog locked in the room, where we boys are staying. He wanted to come with me so badly. But I thought he won't feel safe among so many new faces and decorations.
"Alright then." She spins and says, "What do you think about this dress? Isn't it pretty?" I blush when I find myself staring. "It's a 10." Langie looks amazed. "Really? I thought it would be too small, but I could wear it anyways." I don't miss the opportunity to tease her. "What are you talking about? You're so tiny." Langie puffs out her cheeks. I chuckle at the sight of her funny facial expression. It's really fun to make her go mad like this. She avenges my implication with a soft punch on my back.
Faith comes to call us. "Come on, Adym, Langie. Lets go eat. I'm starving." We all head to the tables. I join the guys, and the girls sit at a different table. After stuffing myself full, I go inside the house to check on the others. My dad is busy talking with some relatives and mom's with her friend. Going outside, I find Sawyer is at the garden whispering something to his girlfriend. They are laughing, and I don't see a point in interrupting them.
