Transformation

Chapter 1: The New Beginning

Gabriel woke up with a lousy start. It was a Saturday morning and he wanted to go back to sleep, but something in his mind told him that he should wake up. " Time to start a new day," mumbled Gabriel to himself. As he went downstairs to eat breakfast, he came up with an idea. He was going to prank his twin sister, Talia. Even though they were both twins, they were nothing alike. Gabriel took after his parents, he was skinny and  dirty blonde, and he was a master of science. Talia looked just like him, except she had brown hair. Talia was also strong and very athletic. Most of the time the gym teacher at their middle school moved her to the boys side of the gym because she had an unfair advantage to the other girls.

"Time to get my prank on." thought Gabriel. Soon, he was sneaking away to the back of the house, waiting for Talia to wake up.

Talia yawned as she got out of bed. She has a weird feeling about that day, like somthing..... anything was about to happen. " Maybe its something in the air," thought Talia as she went downstairs. Talia grabbed the Fruit Loops cereal box, but instead of cereal, oatmeal came out. "GABRIEL!" she shrieked at the top of her lungs. She was getting tired of his stupid little pranks, and this was the last straw. After frantically looking, she finally found him crouching in the corner, smiling like a madman. When he saw she found him, he frowned, and sprinted up the stairs. Of course Talia was practically on top of him in under a second. "Your dead, moron! exclaimed Talia as she raced for him when they reached the top of the steps.

Gabriel turned left, right into their parents lab. Chemicals and dinghys were all over the place. Talia searched the room for somthing hard to throw at Gabriel. If she were to find something, she'd make sure it hurt. After what seemed like forever, she finnally found 2 round cylinders on the table ahead of her. As soon as she saw it, Gabriel saw it too. Their parents were screeching for them to get out, but they tuned them out. All the twins were focused on were getting to the dinghys. Now their parents were running at them, screaming at them to stop. Gabriel and Talia both made it to the table at the same time. They each grabbed a cylinder, then everything went black.
