I swallow my spit as I look at Ace.
"What's wrong with you?" Ace said
I gave him my phone
Jamal is Kam's brother who happens to be my ex. The reason when we broke up, cause he too controlling and abusive. I'm literally scared of that nigga. He used to make me have sex with me. When I tell him no, he would just hit me with anything. Eventually I had the strength to break up with him. When my parents found out, they press charges on him. So he went to jail for a year then his mom spent to live with his grandparents . Now he back in Jacksonville.
"Mane don't worry about him, Kam ain't gonna let him near you" Ace said
My phone start ringing, I answer it.
"Renae.." My mom said
"Mom I know, he's back" I said
"Ok, just stay away from him. Stay close to Ace as much as possible. We working on a restraining order. But for now, be careful"

I hang up the phone and sigh. My worst nightmare has just begin.

The Next Day At Home 2:45 p.m

I swallow hard, if y'all wonder what he's talking about. I was pregnant by Jamal, but I had a miscarriage due to stress. Well it was actually cause by Jamal kicking me in my stomach. I never told Ace about it. QuanQuan and Kam was only the ones who knew beside my family. That why I didn't wanna have a baby at first. Cause I didn't wanna experience that again. But now I'm so happy to have her in life. I love being somebody's mommy.
"Why you didn't tell me?" Ace said

At Memorial Hospital 3:50 p.m.
"I'm sorry to inform but you had miscarriage. I happened to notice that you had big bruise on the stomach, anything would like tell me?" The doctor says
"Umm no" I said
"Mhm, well I happen to tell your..."
"Please don't, I don't wanna to be worry please"
The doctor look at us and nod and walk out
"Don't tell nobody about this... they love you anyway, not to momma, not daddy and especially not Ace" he said walking out the room

"Cause what?" He said
