The Tarble Saga

Chapter 1 The Fall of the Saiyans

The Marvel universe was home to many ruthless races out in the galaxy. Such as the shape shifting Skrulls that could infiltrate planets before the inhabitants of the planets even knew they had even arrived. The parasitic Symbiotes that sought out stronger hosts and could possess beings with just a touch of their bodies and the technological Phalanx that sought to infect other beings with a techno-organic virus. But one race would encourage the hatred of them all, these were the Saiyan's. The Saiyan's were a warrior race dedicated to fighting and conquering. They lived for battle it was what made them who they are and what they are, fighting was their life. They were able to harness energy from their bodies and fire beams of light, and they had the strength to rival armies able to rip a being in two like they were made of paper. They also had the power of the moon able to gaze upon its presence and magnify their power turning themselves into gigantic apes, known as Oozaru's. They were ruthless for nothing else mattered but the fight. For with their power they could roll over most worlds with ease. They rose to power and made their name having them known nearly across the universe. This is the story of how they fell.

            We arrive on the peaceful planet of Zenn-la a place of peace, love, and prosperity. There was no war, no hunger, a true paradise. The people of Zenn-la were a beacon of light and hope in a darkened and chaotic universe, they had even succeeded in establishing peace in other war torn races. Soon Generals from the Kree and Skrull came to Zenn-la to see if peace was possible between the two races. Another being that came to this peace treaty was the son of the Saiyan King Vegeta prince Tarble, and brother to Prince Vegeta. Tarble was born under the same house as his younger brother Prince Vegeta but Tarble was found to have a low power level and King Vegeta was incredibly embarrassed to learn of this. Tarble was the first son of Vegeta and as he grew up King Vegeta then just ignored him treating him as if he was nothing to him, so much to the point that he made it seem like to the other saiyans that he was a miscarriage and like he died. Tarble hated that he was treated this way and he hated that he could do nothing about it. Then Prince Vegeta was born his father had showed more love to the Saiyan prince than he had ever shown to Tarble. Tarble had saw that power was then only way to be noticed, to be considered and even loved through the sight of the Saiyans. Tarble was looked down on by his little brother for having a lower power level than him despite the fact that he was older. Vegeta told his brother that he was a disgrace to the Saiyan race. Tarble then wanted to end this by trying to get his father to lead the Saiyan's peacefully, as Tarble just wasn't a fighter he wasn't excited by death and destruction and all he knew was that peace was his only option but where would he start and how could he convince a man such as King Vegeta about peace when he never truly knew it himself. And then the answer came when in a war meeting about possible planets to overthrow or simply kill and sell the planet to the highest bidder. They then discussed Zenn-la and as he heard about this peaceful planet he then heard how they had info that Kree and Skrull generals would come to this planet from Saiyan spies. However the Saiyan's believed that this was false as the King say's that the two species hate each other and there is no way that they would never even think about working together, what he didn't know was that the reason they were coming together in the first place was because of the Saiyan's and their barbarous ways. Then Tarble knew that this was the planet, the planet that could show him how to integrate peace in an empire as ruthless as the Saiyan's, he then left the meeting. He then took a pod and fled the planet Vegeta and set a course for Zenn-la.

As he arrived on the planet the people of Zenn-la were taken aback a bit by a Saiyan landing on their planet. But they still welcomed him with open arms, then Norrin Radd's mentor who went by mentor came to the Saiyan asking how he is. Tarble say's I'm doing okay I guess. Mentor say's we have never had a Saiyan come to this planet it is indeed a rarity that you are here, what do you seek my child. Tarble reluctantly say's that I am the son of King Vegeta. Mentor ask's "This cannot be Prince Vegeta was heard to have been born 5 years ago and you are an adult. Tarble tells the Mentor and the people of Zenn-la that he was the first born that King Vegeta had who treated him as if he was nothing due to the fact that he was weak. Mentor say's I feel that you have been through much my child but why have you come to Zenn-la. Tarble say's I have come to learn the ways of peace in hope that I can teach them to my people. Mentor say's how interesting that a young man such as yourself wants to end the cycle of violence against your people. Another thing that is also interesting is that other races along with yourself also want to learn the path to peace such as the Kree and the Skrulls they will be here tomorrow morning. Tarble say's that I would be honored to learn along side these people. However King Vegeta managed to find out about this meeting and furious that his son could embarrass him like this so he sent 5 Saiyans to destroy the planet, the Kree, Skrulls and to punish and capture Prince Tarble. He summoned Bardock a powerful low class warrior who had a strong amount of pride and honor but he knew how to follow orders without question. Bardock didn't really like the King, thought of him as weak willed Saiyan who barely even saw battle. As Bardock walked in he did so without respect and didn't bow right away in his presence. His royal advisor told him to show more respect to your king and kneel in his presence. King Vegeta say's "That's enough advisor I would expect as much from the low class but in the future would do well to show more respect to your king. Bardock reluctantly say's "Of course my king". King Vegeta then explains the situation to Bardock about Tarble being his first born but he makes it seem like the people of Zenn-la were not peacelovers but that they were working with the Kree and Skrull to establish a treaty so they could work together to destroy the Saiyans. But Bardock immediately knows the king is lying because he has heard about how the people of Zenn-la were peace lovers. Bardock then say's "Excuse me my king but aren't the people of Zenn-la peace loving hypocrites, King Vegeta then say's "regardless of what they are they are our enemies now, I want the everyone on that planet wiped out, leave no trace of them and bring my son back to me by force if you have to. Bardock then say's "Very well then". King Vegeta then say's as Bardock Is leaving "Oh and Bardock, I would watch your attitude in our future meetings". Bardock then leaves the throne room with a weird feeling in his stomach about what he has to do.
