Narrator's POV
"Look at me in the face and tell me you don't love me anymore." Jughead spat out as he looked Betty in the face.Who was currently sitting down on the couch drinking her wine and watching tv
Betty was upset at Jughead for always coming home late from work, he never really spent afternoons with them anymore.
He was always working that he almost forgot he had a child to take care of as well.
"You don't get it do you?" Betty scoffed out
He sighed and stood in front of her, "get what Betty? What am I not getting?" He had a scowl on his facer
He didn't know what the argument was about, he had to work to keep his family alive, he had to work to keep Annie alive, he had to work to have a roof above his, Betty's, and Annie's head so he didn't see why she was making a big deal out of it.
"You have a daughter for fucks sake! You have a family! But you're never home! You know if I'd knew this would happen I would've never married you!" She instantly regretted the last sentence.
A tear rolling down Jughead's cheek.
He backed away and wiped the tear, "well I'm sorry for trying to provide a nice and healthy life for you and our daughter." Shaking his head, he lifted his hand and removed his marriage ring off his finger.
"I'm sorry for coming home late, I'm sorry for trying me hardest to be a good husband and father, I'm sorry for everything."
Betty watched as he placed the ring in front of her, tears swelling up in her tears eyes.
"Maybe we need a break from eachother" she said, at this point she was just throwing out words and she knew she would soon regret it.
Jughead only nodded.
"I'll be out of you're sight in no time" he left upstairs and started packing a light suitcase
After finishing packing he walked into his 5 year old daughter's room.
He bent down and kissed her head mumbling a few soft words to her.
After giving Annie one last kiss he walked back downstairs and grabbed his keys and wallet, not really wanting to see Betty's face
He wasn't mad at her, more like upset and disappointed.
She only sat there and watched as he left closing the front door behind him.
He decided to stay with Toni and Cheryl since the boys were just going to ask stupid questions.

He knocked on thornhills front door being greeted by Cheryl.
"Jughead? What are you doing here?" She asked in confusion
"May I come in please?" Cheryl nodded and let him in, suitcase included.
They sat in the massive living room, "so not to sound mean or anything, what are you doing here?" She asked
Jughead sighed and looked down, "Betty and I fought, she said I never was with her and Annie because I'm always working."
"Oh Jughead, Betty's just being Betty. Soon she'll text you and apologize for acting like a bitch." She laughed out
"She said if she's knew I would be working 24/7 she would've never married me" he looked into her eyes and she saw he was hurting.
"She said we should just have a break from each other." He added
"Maybe you should listen to her, take a break. Relax. Try finding yourself and spend time with Annie." Cheryl was genuinely a nice person
"I will, thank you Cheryl but I was wondering if..?" He nodded
She only smiled and nodded, "of course you can stay I'll take you to a guest bedroom." He followed her to the guest room and laid down as Cheryl went back to sleep.
He quickly pulled out his phone and pressed on Betty's contact,,
J: I'm taking Annie out tomorrow if that's okay with this.
She responded almost immediately.
B: sure I'll have her ready at noon.
He sighed and put his phone away, he was really missing his girls.
Staring at the ceiling, he zoned off into a deep sleep.

Walking up the stares to her bedroom, she walked into Annie's room and kissed her head.
She looked so much like Jughead, her dark raven hair, her precious blue eyes, her soft curls.
She was just acting like a bitchy wife and now she regretted what she said.
She walked out of her daughters bedroom and went to hers and Jughead's.
She saw his message and texted him back quickly, taking off her shirt and putting on one of Jughead's, letting the soft cotton touch her.
She jumped (metaphorically) into bed and felt lonely in the space she barely took up.
She missed Jughead so much.
Letting her thoughts take over she fell into a deep sleep.
