Nat's POV

I was running the fastest I could through the corridors.
I arrived in front of a huge door and I opened it: I was on a terrace and at the end of it there was a man: Loki.

He approaches smiling and I couldn't move.

-You are gorgeous, wife- he says and he kisses me.

I opened my eyes and sat, trying to breathe normally.

I looked around and I realized that I wasn't in my room: it was all golden and shining, the room was huge and I could see a gorgeous view from the window.

-Oh you are awake finally! I was so scared!- a male voice said.

I looked at the door and I found Thor standing.

-Thor? What are you doing here? Where am I?- I asked.

-You are on Asgard and, well, it's you who has to explain me something- he said -Oh and don't worry, I already told Steve and Clint that you are here-.

-I don't understand, what do I have to explain?- I said.

He sat on the bed too.

-Nat, yesterday night I saw you eating a man's soul and take his blood- Thor said.

I was confused: was this that happened when...?

-I...- I said.

-Don't be scared, we can help you here- he said.

-Well... After the Invasion I... I have this voice in my head and when it wants to take control I feel pain so at the end I give up- I said and I started shaking -I never remember what I do when it has the control, I only know that in the mornings I always wake up with blood on my body and the voice is gone-.

He listened carefully, maybe he knew what it was.

-I am scared, I...- I say and I could feel tears on my cheecks.

It was the first time I told somomeone what was happening and in a certain way I felt better.

-I... I think that during the Invasion one of the creatures chose you as body. It lives inside you- Thor said.

-Is it like "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde"?- I asked wondering if he knew what it was.

-Yeah, kind of- he said -But we can help you, with magic-.

I looked at him.

-Really?- I asked and he nodded.

I smiled and we hugged.

-Now change clothes, I'll show you this place- he said and left the room.

Maybe there was hope, but deep inside I felt like the creature wouldn't have given up easily.
