R&R for the squadron part 2

17/01/2063 0800 hours

the sun shines on the runway of the Griffin airbase, Falco is walking to the hangar to check on the planes, he sees two tdolls holding watch at the hangar playing 5 Card Stud, one of the tdolls has an AK47 right next to her while the other has an AK12 behind her

"goddamit 27 you always win" says the tdoll with the AK47 while she throws her cards on the ammo boxes where they were playing on

"next time you might stand a chance" says the tdoll with the AK12

"12 heads up someone is coming" she gets up and grabs her AK47 "who are you ?"

"Senior Airman Falco Eye of the Griffin Airforce"

"wait you are the one who got guided by M9 right ?" asked AK47

"yes i did"

"well now we can finally brag her that we also encountered you" said AK12 while putting her cards down

"what are you coming here for Falco ?" asked AK47

"inspecting the planes to see if they are ok"

"well go ahead then" AK47 proceeds to open the hangar door

"Falco we got some new supplies in and they told us it were bombs or something"

"interesting, where are they now ?

"inside the hangar in the back"

the hangar door opens to reveal 7 planes , each one has an insignia of Griffin on the tail end and the words "GASS" underneath it

"they are quick to paint the name on it huh"

Falco goes to the end of the hangar to find around 40 bombs

"do you know what they are ?" asked AK12

"AGM 65 Mavericks, air to ground lock on missiles"

"wait what can they do ?"

"what i just said, lock onto enemy vehicles on the ground, im not sure it will destroy an manticore though but we will see"

"so its a bomb ?"

"yes its a bomb indeed, able to destroy a tank in one hit"

"how do you know all this stuff ?"

"well i was a pilot in the Belgian Airforce when i was in my 30's then SF attacked and our entire airforce was destroyed then Griffin came to help us out and we were saved"

"you were a pilot in the Belgian Airforce ?"

"yes i was , but they didn't need pilots anymore because the tdolls changed everything and SF didn't use planes until now, i wound up on the street after with nowhere to go, i searched for a job until i heard that Griffin was going to build an airforce so i came here to fly the skies again"

"and what about the rest of the squadron ?"

"i only know their callsigns, country of origin and age"

"hmmm looks like i will have to ask them myself" she left Falco alone with the missiles

"can't wait to use these babies" he said to himself while getting up"

"what is over there" Keener said while coming towards Falco

"new toys to play with"

"air to ground missiles ?"

"yep and they look new, wonder who made them"

"Griffin makes them, they found old blueprints however they need to find more blueprints to be able to build more stuff"

"so thats why we are flying F16's and not some modified superplane"

"i wonder what they will make next"

"whatever it will be i hope its good"

AK47 walks towards the duo "a call for you Falco" 47 hands over a walkie talkie to Falco

"this is Falco, how can i be of your assistence ?"

"this is the commander speaking, head to the quartermaster to pick up your new gear"

"roger that sir, we will head out over there right now" the walkie talkie cuts out "here AK47" he hands over her walkie talkie

"Keener on me" he said while going to the doors of the hangar

Falco and Keener arrived at the quartermaster where a tdoll greeted them

"hi i'm Springfield, in charge of the armory here what can i do for you ?"

"yes we got orders from the commander of getting our new gear" said Falco

"ah yes one moment please" she said while getting to the back of the armory

"lovely morning isn't it ?" Wiki asked while getting in the armory

"it is indeed" said Keener

"here is your equipment" said Springfield while putting a large box on the counter

"whats in it ?" asked Wiki

"let me check" said Springfield as she opened the box, she put the equipment on the counter "M9 beretta, walkie talkie , 9mm ammo and a survival vest"

"interesting" Keener said while grabbing the beretta

"will the rest be delivered to the squadron" asked Wiki

"yes it will"

*static* "this is the commander do you copy over ?"

"loud and clear sir" said Falco while grabbing the walkie talkie

"i heard that you are with Keener at the armory ?"

"thats true and also Wiki is with us"

"head out to my office at once" *static*

"well you heard the man, lets go"

the trio grabbed their gear and headed out "oh yeah thanks for the equipment Springfield"

"no problem Falco!"

they arrived at the office of the commander , Falco knocks on the door

"come in"

"sir you asked us to be here ?"

"yes we have a new mission for you, take a seat please"

"so what did you whats the mission about ?"

"friendly forces are on going to attack an SF factory who has been causing us trouble, you will be using the new supplies of air to ground missiles to protect our allies"

"when will the mission begin ?" asked Wiki

"at 2100 hours you will take off from the base and around 2137hours you will arrive in the AO, also tdolls are preparing the planes for combat"

"we will be ready!" said Keener

"alright then go rest up and i will inform you squadron later"

"roger that sir"

the trio exited the room

"what do you guys want to do ?" asked Keener

"how about a walk around the base to see whats around ?" said Wiki

"great idea, lets go!" said Falco
