I DONT REMEMBER WHEN I FELL ASLEEP, but it was sometime around when everyone was talking silently and being quiet listening for anything
The next morning flew by fast and i was still trying to stay asleep to get the last few fours i could before we had to pack up and leave. Wrapped up into my blanket still someone shook me saying "Wake up"
I groaned pushing them away but they continued. "Come on mamas, we have to take the tent down. Get up" I opened my eyes seeing it was Mattia who woke me up
"Let me sleep" I whine throwing the blanket over my head. Suddenly i feel myself getting lifted up and carred out of the tent being put down on a sleeping bag next to someone. I peek out and see Theo half asleep zonning out staring at the empty fire pit. Putting my head on her leg i close my eyes trying to go back to sleep.
The boys helped eachother put down the tent and deflate the air mattresses meaning me and theo didn't have to do shit. As i laid there with my eyes closed i didn't fully fall back asleep but i was still in a dream state.
Firewood from last night and weed filled the air as i got comfortable on the ground. "Yo..wheres the car?" I hear Roshaun ask. "By the clearing of the trees, remember?" Zion says putting the air mattress in the box.
"Hold up-" Mariano says "wheres Alejandro, Malik and Zion?"
"Where did Mattia go?" Alvaro asks sounding confused. "Theo did you see where they went?" Roshaun asks my sister.
My sister takes a minute to respond but finally says, "Hell nah. But if i had a clue it would be some where hot boxing the car"
"You fat fucks better not make my car smell like weed, i got a tail out and if we get pulled over im not going go jail" I say sitting up, "And where the the hell is Mattia?"
"Chill baby girl, im right here" A voice says coming back from the tree line. My vision clears and i see Mattia zipping up his pants. "I had to pee" He said
"Come heree" I stretch out my arms. Matt smiles shaking his head and hugs me laying down on the sleeping bag with me.
"We still have no car" Mariano states the obvious. "Someone text them" I say
"I got it" Roshaun announces pulling out his phone calling the two but no answer. "Say sike right now" Ro looks at his phone then us
"We have school TOMORROW, we need to get home" Theo says turning into her motherly state like she always does in situations like these. "Ughh i wanna go back to sleep" I whine resting my head on Mattia's arm
"Guys wait-" Alvaro says remembering something
"What?" Mar asks
"Remember last night how we thought someone was outside out tent?" The boy asks us. "Yeah what about it?" Mattia shurgs
"What if they got taken and then the person took the car" Alvaro predicts
"Baby, drink your juice and sit down" I say patting a spot in front of me. He sighs nodding sitting in front of me and laid down with his head in my lap.
"Okay but Alvaro isnt wrong. It would've happened" Mar agrees
"So what do we do? Sit here and wait for them to come back or someone to save us?" Roshaun says sitting down
I search for my phone but its dead, "What time is it?" Theo answers me saying it was 12:25
"We have a few hours to make a plan. Meaning i have a few minutes to go back to sleep" I say pulling my blanket around me trying to get comfortable
"Tired ass" Mariano laughs throwing a pillow at me. "Shit, thanks!" I smile taking the pillow that he threw
"Alright guys lets try to plan something out" Theo says as the remaining members. "Where the fuck is Kairi?" She asks
"Oh i gave him a blanky cause he looked cold" I say pointing to the boy who was curled up by a log seat in front of the firepit on a sleeping bag. "Awhh look how cute..—okay anyways" Theo says again
I tried to pay attention but i started to doze off again falling back into a slumber leaning up against a pillow on the log seat me and matt leaned up against on while Alvaro watched Disney plus. Panic didn't set in yet but i rather be calm now then freaking out
It must've been a few hours later because i again woke up to Mattia shaking me saying we had to go. I didn't really know what that meant but i was still half asleep so i got up taking my backpack with my blanket still wrapped around me.
"Can't believe we got fucking stranded in the woods" Kairi mumbles bitterly. I look around and see Theo with her hood up and sunglasses looking dead inside smoking a blunt.
"Hand?" I say to mattia holding mine out for him to hold it. "You want me go hold your hand?" He asks amused like i said something funny. Nodding my head he takes my hand intertwining it with his as we made our way down the trail.
"Where did they go?" Kairi asks with a blanket over his head. "Nigga i donf know, ask Indiana Jones over here" Roshaun points to Alvaro who had a compass in his hand.
"Does this nigga have a fucking compass?" I ask looking at Alvaro. He finally looks back at us irritated, "Laugh all you want but you guys would be lost without this" he says shaking the compass in hand
I tried not to laugh but Mattia messed it up by doing it first causing a chain reaction.
"You guys are assholes, go find them by yourself" Alvaro huffs turning off the trail.
I look at him then us as we all kinda just stood there. "What the hell we gon do now?" I ask looking at the five of us.
"We dont need his ass, look i got a compass on my phone" Mar says holding it up. "Nigga is that a 6s plus ?" Theo asks taking the old phone away from him.
"Okay no need to be rude" Mar rolls his eyes taking it back.
I can feel my stomach start to growl and they continued to bicker, "Can we go im hungry"
